He/she will work as an integral member of the global program team and work in close coordination with all implementing partners. It is also the Regional M&E officer’s responsibility to develop and maintain strong relations with all relevant stakeholders at the regional level and support stakeholder liaison at the national and local level in support of the project's implementation as well as with the primary project partner, WWF Germany, the co-funder, WWF NL and KAZA country offices.

Fixed Term Contract for a period of 12 months

Duties and Responsibilities

• Leadership and management of socio-economic community-based monitoring in KAZA
o Ensure the successful integration of community-based socio-economic / livelihood monitoring and tool kit within the project areas in Zimbabwe, Zambia and Namibia in close cooperation and guidance by the SE core group of KIM, the KIM WG in general and by supporting the project M&E staff in the specific countries as well as relevant stakeholders including research entities and communities,
o Liaise and Coordinate with all relevant institutions and implementing partners to achieve this Livelihood monitoring and ensure sustainability (integration into research institutions or other appropriate partners)
o Ensure Data uploading, cleaning and visualization of the data in the KAZA M&E system
o Support the community-based socio-economic / livelihood monitoring in Angola and Botswana
(other funding)

• Leadership and management of the agroecological monitoring in KAZA
o Ensure a standardized AE/sustainable Agriculture monitoring is developed across KAZA by
Integrating the existing monitoring efforts and streamlining these in close coordination with the implementers, communities, KIM WG and other relevant partners
o Facilitate the adoption of an evidence-based adaptive management approach, framed within
broadly agreed Theories of Change, in KAZA
o Ensure the implementation of the AE standardized monitoring in the project areas,
aligned with agreed Theories of Change and support its good implementation
o Report in regular intervals on the AE monitoring results for policy dialogue and adaptive
management to the necessary stakeholders and organise appropriate communication tools,
products and events for this
o Coordinate and enable regular and timely feedback to local communities involved in participatory monitoring

• Environmental and Social Safeguards Framework (ESSF) Monitoring
o Support the ESSF activities of the project and ensure that relevant safeguard monitoring is
included in the socio-economic and AE monitoring systems in the focal landscapes (project areas)

• Active member of KIM WG, Communication of results
o Lead on all aspects of the SE and AE monitoring within the KAZA M&E system and
coordinate all aspects with the KIM WG and partners as appropriate
o Report regularly on M&E results for policy dialogue and adaptive management to the
necessary stakeholders and organize appropriate communication tools and products as well as developing a learning network in KAZA.
o Network with all relevant monitoring initiatives in/for KAZA promoting a holistic and coordinated approach
o Liaise with academic/research organizations in KAZA and elsewhere, to further KAZA M&E and

• Planning, implementation and support of the Global program M&E activities
o Carry out planning of M&E with all relevant staff and integrate this into the overall projects

o Develop project Monitoring plans with all implementing partners and support their effective and

• Team member and coordination

o Coordinate closely with WWF Germany on the LU/LC and other relevant M&E activities

• Capacity building and learning
o Provide capacity building to the implementing partners, M&E staff, and others to fulfill the project M&E activities and support the KAZA M&E
o Implement the yearly M&E capacity building event
o Lead the M&E working group of the project
o Ensure results of the monitoring are reported back to the local stakeholders especially the
communities

Qualifications and Experience

• A Master’s degree in geography, environmental sciences, integrated natural resource management, or resource economics.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in monitoring natural resources, either socio-economic, community-based monitoring (PRA methods and others), agriculture, and GIS systems.
• A working understanding of remote sensing methods and data acquisition, including the ability to make sense of and integrate data collected at multiple scales and sources for adaptive management
• Good knowledge of statistical packages and/or GIS software (QGIS, ArcGIS, other)

Required skills and Competencies

• Two or more of the following would also be an advantage:
o Experience in working with NGOs, civil society organizations and local communities.
o Work experience in the KAZA region. Work experience in the project regions in Namibia, Zambia and Zimbabwe
o Demonstrated ability to handle complex process and information integration issues,

• Enforcing biosecurity procedures (showering, boot-change, vermin proofing, chlorination)
• Reporting mortalities and culls to the clerk and flagging high mortalities to the Site Captain.
• Monitoring bird activity, health, crop fills and signs off distress for pens under your charge
• Monitoring drinker and feeder heights and advising housemen accordingly on a daily basis,

• Monitoring daily feed usage per pen, ensuring adequate feed has been fed by housemen, reporting feed usage to clerk,
• Ensuring house conditions (temperature, ventilation/air quality) are favourable to the bird as stated in the procedure,
• Weighing and recording weights weekly per pen as per procedure,
• Coordinating offloading chicks, feed, charcoal and shavings delivered in an orderly and accounted for manner (GRVs)
• Assisting in vaccination procedures as instructed by trained vaccinator
• Setting targets and following up on manure removal,
• Washing and disinfecting pens thoroughly,
• Coordinating preparations for placement, equipment and insulation and carrying out biosecurity checks as per procedure.

Plant Engineer

.Comply accordingly with the ICRF book (Internal Control Reference framework) with specific emphasis on engineering and production procedures
.Formulating and planning of daily, weekly and yearly maintenance tasks and following up on their implementation to ensure adherence to PM schedule and attainment of Plant Performance KPIs, MTTR and MTBF
.Ensuring good maintenance standards to minimise downtime and cost
.Coordinating with the Engineering Foreman to ensure all engineering documentation such as job cards, enhanced work orders (EWOs), checklists and failure log sheets to support reliability are in place as per procedure
.Identification and implementation of plant improvement projects
.Drafting, Laying Out, and Specifying Technical Devices, Parts, and Equipment. Providing documentation, detailed instructions, drawings, or specifications that show detailed information about how devices, parts, equipment, or structures are to be fabricated, constructed, assembled, modified, maintained, or used.
.Lead project teams to ensure World Class Manufacturing (WCM) projects are completed timeously.
.Preparing Capex applications for improvement projects.
.Ensuring contractor compliance to all SG standards and procedures.
.To inform plant management of all situations or conditions that could result in downtime and to take all such remedial action as is necessary to minimise downtime as a result thereof.

In consultation with the community post team leader, the community post nurse will offer both clinical and counselling services to eligible at-risk persons seeking or referred for HIV related services. The community post nurse will be instrumental in the provision of high-quality HIV prevention, testing, treatment, and counselling services to support high yield HIV case finding strategies and retention services. The community post nurse will also offer HIV services to eligible clients across the whole HIV continuum of care. The CP Nurse will oversee day to day running of the community post and ensure that the CP meets all the recording and reporting requirements. She / He is the first level supervisor of the Data Entry Clerk, Community Post and KP Champions at the community post.

• Work with the community post team leader to develop work schedules and performance enhancement interventions.

• Directly manage performance of Community Post Champions, KP Champions and Data Entry clerks
• Supervise and mentor Community post Champions in the provision PITC and correct/consistent documentation, psychosocial counselling skills necessary to conduct targeted HIV self-testing including index contact testing.
• Provide psychosocial counselling services to patients accessing services at the community post.
• Deliver HIV services to recipients of care across the whole continuum of the HIV care cascade. This includes HIV counselling and testing (includes targeted HIV case-finding), linkage to ART and HIV prevention interventions, ART follow-up (reviews and refills), TPT, TB screening, STI screening, referral for other services to the parent facility, defaulter tracking, viral load monitoring.
• Attend parent facility and other stakeholders’ meetings on behalf of the organization.
• Facilitate daily PEP talks on RECIPE and other key topics that help improve case finding, linkage and retention into care.
• Identify program gaps and initiate quality improvement activities across the whole continuum of HIV service delivery and display QI tools on the learning board.
• Support routine data collection daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly. Ensure timely reporting and attend to any ad-hoc programmatic and reporting requests.
• Ensure documentation of service delivery in appropriate registers and e-HR utilization.
• Keep abreast with latest guidelines and SOPs and mentor subordinates on these.

• Registered Nurse with 2 or more years counselling experience and OI/ART management experience.

ICT Support Technician

To provide technical support to school-related events, the staff, teachers, and students of Harare International School (HIS) and the HIS technical devices. This is to ensure that there is access to, and use of, the required technical devices, software and equipment.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Manages the HIS IT help desk system, and is the first point of contact and initial responder to all incoming tickets
- Logs all requests that have not come via the helpdesk system (eg. in person help requests at the IT Support Office) to the HIS
helpdesk system
- Configures and prepares all HIS owned student, teacher, staff and administrative laptops, tablets and desktops for use and
connection to the network; including labelling of devices
- Installs, updates and manages the software on users’ computer equipment
- Guides the HIS community, where necessary, regarding the correct care and protection of HIS technology equipment
- Performs repairs, within current abilities, on computer hardware equipment, laptops, desktops and devices
- Where needed, logs and sends devices to external companies for specialist repair
- Inputs and updates all ICT equipment movements, allocations, condition and stock inventory; and ensures that all assets are
correctly labelled
- Monitors consumable stock levels and initiates ordering process for new stock to ensure adequate stock on hand
- Develops, reviews and implements a maintenance and upgrade schedule for all HIS technical equipment
- Works in conjunction with the HIS Network Specialist to upgrade and manage the printer software on the server
- Manages the school printing to each network printer using printer software
- Communicates, where necessary, with external printer suppliers for maintenance, repairs, toner supplies and other technical issues
with regards to the HIS network printers
- Configures, installs, supports and maintains the projectors and Apple TV equipment on campus
- Prepares online academic testing environments (as needed), provides technical support for online academic testing, and advises on
the equipment to create testing environments
- Alerts the ICT System Administrator and/or ICT Director of any network downtime and/or problems reported by users
- Provides advice and support for data security, backup and recovery procedures / protocols

Qualifications and Experience

- IT Diploma recognised in Zimbabwe is essential
- Degree in Computer Technology or similar is an advantage
- ICT hardware management, repairs and maintenance
- Understanding of IT help desk administration
