The Foundation seeks to recruit an Accounts Assistant who will
be responsible for the following duties and responsibilities among others:

Prepare and code journals for the monthly nominal ledger input; Code all transactions in order to ensure the allocation of transactions to correct budget lines; Prepare all transactions to the nominal ledger in order to ensure the timely processing and production of the nominal ledger by the 15th of the following month; Monthly reconciliation of bank accounts; Ensure an orderly and systematic filing system of transaction records; Compile the annual audit schedules; Process payments for partnerships and any other such Partnerships as allocated from time to time; Process payments for projects disbursements, sundry creditors, internal and external consultants; Perform any other duties as directed by your Supervisors.

A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting

trained and qualified applicants to fill the post of Medical Laboratory
Technician to be based in Harare. Laboratory Technicians should apply and not

Receive biological samples from the clinic and check for adequacy and conformity to UZ-UCSF quality standards and process accordingly; To perform HIV EIA, HIV Rapid tests, Western Blots, PCR, Syphilis serology, Hepatitis serology, FlowCytometry, PBMC separation, haematology and clinical chemistry tests and release results or store samples within stipulated turn-around times; Work and provide cover at any other site laboratory or Departments within the Central Laboratory; Maintain an accurate inventory of all laboratory items to ensure that laboratory services are not disrupted; Monitoring and recording room and fridge temperatures and maintaining reviewed records for auditable trail; General housekeeping and equipment maintenance with documented records; Ensure timely review of relevant SOPs annually and assist in writing SOPs and method validations for new test platforms; Must have excellent intergroup relations as well as excellent communication skills; Perform any other duties as assigned by the Laboratory Manager.

Based in Harare initially for 10
months, the purpose of the Social Norms Advisor role is to support the WeCARE
project team and partners to design social norms and behavioural change
interventions under the WE-Care Programme, with the scope to shift the
underlying norms and perceptions that are currently barriers to ‘shared care
work’.
What we’re looking for
3-5 years of practical experience in implementing and managing social and behaviour change communication and gender related programs; University degree in Gender Studies, Communication, International Development, Social Sciences, or a related field is required (preferable: PHD student); Knowledge of state of the art social and behaviour change communication models and strategies and their practical application in development programs; Understanding of the M&E techniques and MEAL work (i.e. how do you measure a norm (quantitative as well as qualitative) and how do you measure change in a norm); Experience in designing public communications based on the content coming out of the social norms research – posters, materials, role-plays, radio, TV, etc; Field experience in developing and implementing Social and Behavioural change projects and programs that have demonstrated impact, at scale; Knowledge and experience of methodologies to assess and monitor change in individual and collective norms on gender roles and attributes , and ideas and beliefs, perceptions of ‘work’, the ‘economy’, ‘public and private sector responsibilities in work; A demonstrated ability to work effectively with local community organizations, donors and other stakeholders; Ability to work, train and coach local staff and partners with differing levels of skills.

Culture Fund of Zimbabwe Trust, is a not-for-profit development
organisation serving as an active social transformation agent working within
communities through investments in innovative and sustainable creative sector
capacities. A unique enabler within Zimbabwean society, the Culture Fund helps
the mainstreaming of innovative solutions into sustainable development
interventions. Over the last decade, the Culture Fund of Zimbabwe Trust
(Culture Fund) has supported active development and progressive social change
agents through more than 1,000 creative sector projects. The Fund has helped
strengthen Community Based Organisations (CBOs) capacities, assisted women and
youth empowerment interventions, enhanced community rights and livelihoods
capacities, promoted peacebuilding in Zimbabwe and fostered citizen rights
awareness among other programmes.
Funded by the by the Embassy of Sweden through the Swedish
International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida), CultureACTIONs is a three
year (April 2017 - March 2020) programme with the overall objective to harness
the transformative power of the Creative Arts to challenge retrogressive
societal norms aiming at; reducing gender based violence (GBV) amongst women
and girls aged between 15 and 44 years; raising climate change and
environmental sustainability awareness within targeted communities, especially
among children.
Job responsibilities

Gender Studies, Communication, International Development, Social Sciences, or a related field; Minimum of 3 years’ experience in gender-based violence, especially violence against women and girls and gender equality; M&E and preferably NGO experience in a multi-stakeholder environment, knowledge of and experience of Gender and Climate Change linkages will be an added advantage; Experience in designing, implementing and managing M&E systems; Experience in planning and managing surveys and developing and refining data collection tools; experience with data quality assessments and oversight; Experience in support services provided to GBV survivors such as awareness, emotional support, etc

Ability to work effectively with community based organizations and other stakeholders; Good knowledge of programme cycle management and development; Exceptional writing, editing skills and experience reporting clearly and comprehensively on a complex portfolio of activities; Knowledge of quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis methodologies, database management, and familiarity with impact evaluation or similar research methodologies; Strong computer skills particularly with one or more types of data analysis and management software; Good command of English and Shona, both oral and written; Knowledge of other local languages will be an added advantage
