Job Description:
An ACCA Tutor is required at The Actuarial and Business School, who is passionate about

Responsibilities:
1. Design and deliver teaching materials through use of appropriate teaching, learning
and assessment methods.
2. Challenge thinking, foster debate and develop the ability of students to engage in
critical discourse and rational thinking.
3. Mark and assess work and examinations and provide feedback to students. Contribute
to setting assignments.
4. Provide students with academic support during assigned hours.
5. To deliver the ACCA course including the first five fundamentals modules.
6. Producing schemes of work, lesson plans, assessment plans, learning materials and
any other related activities that impact on the effectiveness of learning.
7. To communicate external examination entry and timetable arrangements to the course
team and students.

Prefered Qualifications:
1. A Bachelor's (Hon) Degree in any commercial field
2. ACCA student/affiliate will be an added advantage
3. Evidence of lecturing or tutoring experience is a prerequisite.

CARE is implementing the Enhancing Community Resilience and Sustainability (ECRAS) project to increase the capacities of communities to sustain development gains and achieve improved well-being outcomes in the face of shocks and stresses. Through this project, ECRAS envisions the objective of enhancing Chiredzi and Mwenezi household and community resilience by improving their absorptive, adaptive and transformative capacities. The project has a Crisis modifier, which is a finance mechanism to response to the changes in the operating environment to ensure that the developmental gains of the projects may not be undermined by the negative changes. Against the background of EI Nino induced droughts in the last 2 seasons, the project has triggered a crisis modifier in both Mwenezi and Chiredzi and would like to recruit qualified personnel for the position of a Project Engineer and Database administrator to implement the proposed activities under the Crisis Modifier.
Job Summary
The incumbent will be responsible for collection, processing and dissemination of data for the Project and to design and develop data management application software system(s)
Key duties and Responsibilities
Developing effective ways to arrange, track and store reporting information for the ECRAS project and CO in collaboration with M&E and PQM; Developing and creating relational management database systems using object oriented software programming languages, that is, C# (Sharp), SQL (Structured Query Language); Designing, coordinating, troubleshooting database security systems to safeguard project information; Developing new systems to capture new information; Designing Geographical spatial databases and mapping of project sites and operational areas using appropriate GIS software; Setting up a user friendly project and country office database systems structure for organising the data and pre-testing the system to eliminate bugs and errors; Developing and formating Program M&E Data Collection Tools, such as beneficiary registration, surveys and output monitoring tools; Developing and supporting mobile application systems for project data collection surveys and monitoring; Installing, configuring and supporting server configurations including the Master and Slave Servers, for mobile data collection systems; Monitoring performance parameters to provide fast query responses to users (PM. MEAL Specialist, DCCs); Generating and developing reports ,reporting tools and analysis reports from the database
Qualifications, skills and experience
Degree in Information Technology/ Computer Science/Information Systems/Statistics or equivalent; 3-5 years working experience in database design, data collection, and analysis and reporting or other related field; Analytical thinker who pays attention to detail; Good reporting and report writing skills; Excellent communication skills; Exceptional planning and organizing skills

Four (4) Outreach Workers: CeSHHAR Zimbabwe

CeSHHAR Zimbabwe is an organization that specializes in sexual health, HIV and AIDS research in Zimbabwe. CeSHHAR in collaboration with the MOHCC and NAC is implementing a National Sex Work Programme aimed at reducing HIV acquisition and transmission among sex workers thereby reducing HIV transmission and acquisition to and from their clients. We would like to pilot a Self-Help Group concept among Female Sex workers in Harare.
Self Help Group Project – Harare
Objective: the project aims to develop, implement and evaluate a self-help-group (SHG) approach tailored to the specific needs of female sex workers in Harare, Zimbabwe as a means of building social cohesion, developing their financial literacy and strengthening their psychological resilience, with the ultimate aim of improving their engagement with HIV prevention and care services.
We are therefore looking to fill the following positions to start working on the above projects. The positions will be on a one year contract with possibility of extension.
The outreach workers will be responsible for mapping of communities, identification of hot spots, identification and recruitment of Peer Educators, training and mentorship of Peer Educators, supervise the implementation of self-help Groups, and monitoring evaluation and reporting on the setting up of Self Help Groups. Specific duties include:
Research Program intervention: The outreach worker will assist the Research/Program Coordinator in working with the communities to identify, recruit and train suitable Sex workers as Research Peer Educators. The Outreach worker will assist in all training of PE and supervision and monitoring of their day to day activities. He/ She must have a very good working relationship with the community of sex workers.
Communication with communities: The post holder will be responsible for ensuring good communication with communicating project objectives and updates to stakeholders and providing program related information and material.
Establishing and maintaining Self Help Groups: The Outreach Worker will help establish SHGs and will assist the PE in running the groups using guided topics once every week as outlined in the SHG manual
Establishing and marinating microplanning: The outreach worker will support PEs to conduct and maintain microplanning activities, conduct weekly support and supervision meetings with PEs and supporting documentation as detailed in the micro planning SOP.
Report writing: The Outreach Worker will help in collating data that is compiled by PEs during their outreach activities and inputting this data into the CeSHHAR database.
Any other duties as required by the Project Coordinator
Qualifications and experience
A degree in social sciences; Counseling diploma and experience in HIV/AIDS counseling and added advantage; Demonstrable experience and interest in community outreach work, ability to do community mobilization, create rapport with personnel from collaborating or associate institutions and work independently but within a team framework; Current and valid certificate in GCP and Ethics an advantage. A current certificate in Good Clinical Practice and Ethics; Experience working with vulnerable populations (sex workers) an added advantage; Skills in financial literacy, violence prevention and child protection highly desirable
