Qualifications

Welthungerhilfe together with Community Technology Development Organisation, Agricultural Partnerships Trust and Institute of Environmental Studies are implementing a programme titled, Matabeleland Enhanced Livelihoods Agriculture and Nutrition Adaptation (MELANA) under the UNDP managed Zimbabwe Resilience Building Fund ZRBF001-2016. The programme aims to build the absorptive, adaptive and transformative capacity of households, communities and governmental institutions in Nkayi, Bubi, Umguza and Umzingwane districts in Matabeleland North and South of Zimbabwe. The consortium works closely with key stakeholders including Rural District Councils, Ministry of Agriculture, Mechanisation and Irrigation Development (MAMID) and other Government departments, together with NGOs and community based organisations to plan and implement resilience building activities addressing infrastructure, food and nutrition security, market linkages and community safety nets. A key part of the project is to implement the crisis modifier which aims to reduce the vulnerability of households. For implementation of the crisis modifier component Welthungerhilfe seeks to recruit a Logistician.

Your most important duties
Procure project materials according to WHH standards; Arrange for and compare quotations, according to WHH guidelines; Procure equipment and office and project relevant supplies up to the specified guideline amount including request for and comparison of quotations; Monitor availability of supplies (spare parts, stationary etc.) and arrange for replenishment; Prepare tender documents using compliant documentation and organise procurement committees; Arrange for and co-ordinate the delivery of goods; Inspect delivered materials and arrange for replacement if defective; Reconcile deliveries and compile distribution reports and ensure accurate documentation; Develop, maintain and update a database on suppliers; Prepare liquidations on advances for goods and services with programme staff and forward to finance team for approval; Make administrative and logistic arrangements of project activities (meetings, workshops etc.); Maintenance of vehicle fleet; Check vehicle logbooks Compile monthly vehicle expenditure control for all vehicles; Check compliance with WHH transport regulations and report misconduct to superiors

As a qualified applicant, you will possess the following

Two (2) Research Assistants - Cost-effectiveness Analysis: The Centre for Sexual Health and HIV/AIDS Research (CeSHHAR) Zimbabwe

The Centre for Sexual Health and HIV/AIDS Research (CeSHHAR) Zimbabwe is a registered Trust. CeSHHAR houses a number of HIV prevention and sexual health research and programmatic projects. Purpose of the job
The Research Assistant will be responsible for collecting, processing (and assisting with analysis of) cost and cost-effectiveness data.

Key duties and responsibilities
Reporting to the Health Economist, the following will be the Research Assistant (cost-effective analysis) core duties: Collecting and processing costing data; Costing all resources used in the delivery of the intervention; Collating cost data from project accounts as well as time and motion studies; Assisting with cost data synthesis and articulating implications for program implementation; Any other duties as designated by the Health Economist

Qualifications, skills and abilities
