CRS seeks qualified candidates for an anticipated
opportunity for Getting to ZERO, a five-year program to reduce HIV impact,
vulnerability and risk and increase uptake of and retention in high impact HIV
services among orphans and vulnerable children and adolescents in targeted communities
in Zimbabwe.
Job summary
The Deputy Chief of Party (DCoP) will assist the
Chief of Party to manage a team of senior staff and sub-recipients to ensure
quality, timeliness and efficiency of all project deliverables. S/he will
provide oversight of the technical and management quality of the project to
meet the goals of the project. S/he will responsible for the technical and
management quality of the project to meet the goals of the project. S/he will
be responsible for financial management of the project that includes the review
of project expenses, cash pipeline and partner liquidations. S/he will ensure
timely, high-quality and complete submission of work plans, periodic narrative
and financial reports and any other reports required by the donor or other
stakeholders. S/he is expected to facilitate linkages with government and other
stakeholders to ensure that activities complement ongoing initiatives.
Education, experience & skills Master’s
Degree in International Development, Business Administration, Public
Administration or relevant disciplines; At least 7 years’ experience in
administration of development programs of which 5 was in large-scale,
multi-year US government funded projects; Previous Deputy Chief of Party
experience preferred, an added advantage if in OVC/health related project;
Knowledge of US government rules and regulations required; Demonstrated
experience in financial management; Good knowledge of the health and social
services sector in Zimbabwe; Demonstrated project management skills with
ability to effectively manage staff and consultants; Excellent planning and
organization skills; Excellent oral and written English communication skills;
Proficiency in computer applications (MS Office packages, lnternet and Web
Conferencing); Willingness to spend 10% or more of the time in field

The
Analyst ,Laboratory Systems (from here on “Analyst”) will be a key member of
the CHAI Zimbabwe’s Laboratory Team and is expected to provide analytical
support, program planning and implementation rigor to CHAI Zimbabwe’s
engagement with the Ministry of Health and Child Care (MOHCC) in the scale-up
of access to diagnostic services including POC EID/CD4/VL.
The
