Systems Engineer reports to Head of Technical department of ISP Business
The Systems Engineer will manage and maintain all related IT infrastructure critical to the successful operation of the business. In addition to the essential day to day
operational and problem solving tasks, responsibilities include technical strategy; research & development;

Key Responsibilities Will Include
Core ISP systems and services (including, DNS, web and mail hosting, VMware and Hyper-V

Experience & qualifications

Shell scripting, regular expressions, and other system admin tools essential.
Excellent practical understanding of network protocols and services.
Excellent technical knowledge of operating systems, particularly Unix based (Linux etc.) and Microsoft
environments.
Programming experience is an advantage.
Database admin experience (MSSQL, MySQL)

Position summary
Impact Africa Trust (IAT) is seeking an Intern to do the following duties and responsibilities for the organization. The program seeks to help agripreneurs scale up their business enterprises. Our approach will bring tested capacity-building and technical assistance methods to agribusinesses, and catalyze the creativity of local individuals to come up with better solutions to resolve their community farming issues. S/he will work mainly on fundraising for the Trust for the capacity building program by working with local partners. Program description
Impact Africa Trust is a local NGO that has been in existence since July 2015. Impact Africa Trust's first year in Zimbabwe worked with several farmers in Goromonzi communities in Harare Province on a pilot agripreneurs program. The program identified agripreneurs who are implementing agricultural projects in the area. Impact Africa Trust is now scaling up this successful pilot by building the capacity of local institutions and NGOs across Zimbabwe to accelerate the implementation of technologically efficient agripreneurs community-based projects at the local level.

Responsibilities
Compile and maintain a database of international and local donor organizations (international foundations, bilateral and multilateral agencies and private corporations offering donations); Regularly monitor donor websites and identify and inform donor opportunities matching the work of the organization; Assist the Executive Director in writing concept notes, project ideas and project proposals and ensure their timely submission; Undertake independent research in finding alternative resources for long-term sustainability of the organization; Assist the Executive Director in developing business plans to generate income from various sources; Undertake online research and build contacts with potential individual donors and raise funds for the activities of the organization; Maintain relationships with existing donors and respond to their requests regularly and keep updating the executive director about the work of the organization; Improve and develop communications material for the organization such as brochure, website, annual report, poster etc; Organize or provide assistance in organizing any fundraising events for the organization; Suggest other innovative ideas for effective resource mobilization.

Qualifications

UZ-UCSF Collaborative Research Programme is seeking a suitably trained, competent, multitasking and qualified applicant to fill the position of Study Coordinator. This position calls for a mature individual with a proven record of project implementation, recruitment and retention of eligible study participants, Quality Assurance and Quality Control, development of research instrument, obtain regulatory board approvals and communicate regularly with national and international collaborators as well as excellent team leadership skills.
Responsibilities
Oversee project implementation and ensure smooth implementation of all study-related activities in close consultation with the project Principal Investigator. Qualifications and person specific qualities
Applicants should have a Bachelors or Master’s degree in a health-related field (e.g. BSc in Nursing Science, Biological Science or Social Science, a Master’s in Public Health). A Master degree, training in epidemiology, research methodology, and clinical trials management is an added advantage Applicants must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience working in a research setting Applicants must have at least 1 year of personnel management experience. Urgent Action Fund-Africa (UAF-Africa), is a consciously feminist and women's human rights pan- African Fund, registered in Nairobi, Kenya. Operating as a virtual organisation, the Fund boasts of strategic presence in Africa's four sub-regions- in East Africa: Nairobi, Kenya; North Africa: Cairo, Egypt; Central Africa: Bujumbura, Burundi and Southern Africa: Harare, Zimbabwe. Responsibilities
Working closely with the Executive Director, develop and implement a partnership strategy to expand the reach and impact of on-going efforts in advancing UAF-Africa's focus areas. Knowledge, skills and abilities
Master's degree in social sciences; Women's Studies, Gender Studies, Law, International Development or other development fields; 8-10 years' expertise and experience in successful resource mobilization; funding proposal writing and oral presentation, program design, grant management for social justice NGOs-especially women's rights organisations; Knowledge of social justice/development frameworks, donor liaison and management; Track record of success in networking and partnership building; Experience in monitoring multiple grants, project budgets and financial reporting with strong financial awareness; Track record of success on motivating teams and of successfully conducting capacity building on resource mobilisation for social justice NGOs; Excellent inter-personal, public speaking and negotiation skills - ability to communicate persuasively, in English; Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Database, Excel, PowerPoint) as well as strong familiarity with social media activism and usage; Strong writing, proof-reading, organizational skills; Demonstrated ability to anticipate emerging needs and integrate them speedily into priority settings; Ability to work collaboratively and independently in a fast-paced and virtual team environment, while simultaneously managing a large number of initiatives.
Preferred
Working knowledge of feminist and women's rights organisations and movements; An appreciation of gender equality and women's rights issues, particularly in conflict and fragile political African settings; Ability to interface sensitively with people from various social, economic, political, cultural and religious backgrounds; Budget and financial management skills- familiarity with grant making is an added advantage; Experience working with Salesforce software an added advantage.

Driving in a safe manner at all times, always wearing a seat belt (ensuring that all passengers wear their seat belts before take-off; Ensuring the provision of reliable and safe driving services for programme personnel and other authorized personnel as directed; Ensuring cost-savings through proper use of vehicle and accurate maintenance of daily vehicle logs and any other documentation as required; Requesting fuel, travel advances and cash travel advances in a timely fashion; Ensuring daily maintenance of the assigned vehicle through: Daily vehicle checks before the day's first trip, Daily cleaning of the vehicle's interior and exterior; Taking note of any faults that may develop on the vehicle and bringing them to the attention of the transport department as soon as possible; Arranging for the planned vehicle maintenance, minor and major vehicle service and repairs and inspecting the vehicle before and after service; Parking the vehicle in a secure location in the districts and at the HQ if in Harare; Ensure that all immediate actions required by rules and regulations are taken in case of involvement in accidents and reporting all road traffic accidents or thefts
to the police and inform the supervisor and UZ-UCSF Transport Department immediately; Following the Zimbabwe road rules, including adhering to speed limits and the carrying of a valid driver's licence at all times; Upholding the non-smoking policy in the organization's vehicle and ensure that passengers do not smoke inside the vehicle; Ensuring that the vehicle has the necessary accessory tools as should be equipped, e.g. jack, and wheel spanner and spare wheel; Responsible for a project cell phone and ensuring that calls are restricted to business only; Any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
