Partners for Integrated Growth and Development (PIGAD), is seeking to recruit 4 Field Officers for its smallholder egg production project. The officers are expected to be based in any one of the three operational areas (Goromonzi, Marondera and Murewa). PIGAD is a Local Development Trust with its core mandate in livelihoods development in Zimbabwe’s rural and peri-urban areas.
Purpose of the position
The main purpose of this position is to provide extension services and technical support to smallholder farmers producing eggs in the targeted districts to ensure the development of sustainable enterprises with links to markets.
Duties and responsibilities
Conduct community farmer mobilization and project sensitization meetings; Participate in farmer household selection & verifications and according to the laid down rules and regulations; Participate in development of poultry management training materials and facilitate farmer trainings; Advice farmers on layers management and Internal Savings and Lending Schemes (ISALs); Facilitate the selection of project community volunteers (Lead Farmers, Community ISAL Facilitators) and demonstration plot sites; Conduct monthly monitoring visits to smallholder farming households, community volunteers and demonstration plot sites; Coordinate and where possible conduct project trainings and facilitate meetings and field days; Facilitate formation of farmer groups and associations within the area of operation; Compilation of project activity reports; Liaise with all key stakeholders in the area of operation and represent the organization at any community meetings and gatherings; Carryout any other duties as requested by management.
Skills and qualifications
At least a Diploma in Agriculture; Experience in conducting smallholder farmer training and extension; Experience in poultry production and disease management especially layers and/or boschveld; Experience in development of training materials; Ability to ride a motor cycle; Knowledge of basic computer packages like Microsoft Word and Excel; Willingness to relocate to the project area (rural area); Ability to work with minimal supervision

Position Summary
Reporting to the District Team Leader, the Nurse Tester will be expected to provide HIV Testing Services in the community and support linkages in close collaboration with the MOHCC District and Health facility staff, community based health workers and other implementing partners.
Duties and Responsibilities
Provide HIV Testing Services including integrated symptom screening at community level and ensuring linkages to care and treatment; Strengthen health facility and community linkages through working closely with MOHCC site nurses and community based health workers in the development of robust referral systems for PLWHIV; Providing enhanced adherence counselling to PLWHIV at community level and referring to health facilities and other service providers as maybe needed; Support the District Team Leader to conduct community mobilization, demand creation, defaulter identification, tracking and tracing as well as facilitate the formation and strengthening of community ART refill groups (CARGs) and support groups; Record and report activities at community level using ZHCT M&E tools and submit to the District Team Leader for aggregation; Any other activities as directed by the supervisor
Qualifications and minimum requirements
Primary Care Nursing or equivalent; Certificate in Rapid HIV Testing and Counselling is a must; Class 3 license or willingness to ride a motorbike is a must; At least one year OI ART experience; Sound knowledge and experience in M&E is an added advantage; Registration with Nurses Council of Zimbabwe; License to practice in Zimbabwe;

The Programme Associate reports to the Head of Field Office. He/she may receive indirect guidance from other sections and units relevant to the country programme(s). UNHCR Manual, Operations Plans, UN and UNHCR financial/budgetary rules and regulations will guide the work of the Programme Associate. S/he is expected to stay abreast of the challenges posed to the region by the political context, the UN and humanitarian reform and institutional developments. Accountability
The needs of persons of concern in the country are assessed and analysed in a participatory manner and using an Age, Gender and Diversity (AGD) perspective to form a firm basis for planning; IP agreements are established in a timely manner, regularly monitored and reported on in compliance with established guidelines and procedures
Responsibilities
Undertake proper collection, monitoring and use of baselines, standards and indicators needed to measure and analyse programme performance, trends and target interventions; Review the implementation and performance of IPs agreements through appropriate physical monitoring to evaluate the projects by reviewing work plans, progress reports, budget, financial reports and expenditures; undertake field visits as required; Use UNHCR’s corporate tools (e.g. Global Focus, Focus Client) to assess the technical soundness of the operation and generate data for evidence-based decisions at the country-level; Assist in keeping donor representatives briefed on developments and assist in the development of funding submissions, appeals and reports; Assist in ensuring compliance in issuance of audit certificates for Implementing Partners; Perform other duties as required; Monitor Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all protection/solutions activities.
Authority
Provide inputs for the country operations plan (including budgets, staffing levels and structures) as well as prepare inputs for funding submissions, appeals and reports; Enforce compliance with UNHCR’s global strategies, protocols and guidelines; Represent UNHCR in physical monitoring of projects.
Essential minimum qualifications and professional experience required
Completion of Secondary education and post-secondary training/ certificate in Business Administration, Social Science, International Law or related field; Minimum 6 years of previous job experience relevant to the function; Computer skills (in MS office); Fluency in English and working knowledge of another relevant UN language or local language
Desirable qualifications & competencies

Four (4) Data Entry Interns: Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation (EGPAF)

Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation (EGPAF) supports the Ministry of Health and Child Care (MOHCC) in the delivery of integrated family centered HIV prevention, care and treatment services. A key strategic objective of the Foundation is to advance HIV programming through operational research.
EGPAF and their partners will be carrying out a study among Orphans and Vulnerable Children (OVC) in selected districts to generate evidence that will inform innovations for OVC-oriented differentiated HIV service delivery in Zimbabwe in line with HIV testing, treatment and viral suppression targets for this target population.
Job summary
The Data Entry Intern will work closely with the Program Database Specialist in capturing and cleaning of Orphans and Vulnerable Children (OVC) Risk Screening Tool study data. He/She will work as part of EGPAF Zimbabwe’s OVC project team that supports the MOHCC to attain the elimination of paediatric HIV in Zimbabwe.
Essential duties and responsibilities
Review the OVC data forms from the field to identify any incompleteness, errors and mismatch/inconsistencies; Liaise with the Research Supervisors and/or Supervisor to have the data corrected; Capture high quality OVC data from the field paper-based forms into an electronic database; Ensure complete, accurate and timely capturing of data into the database;
Backup all the data routinely; Upload the data into the central database; Review and make necessary corrections to the data captured in the database; Maintain confidentiality of information collected through the electronic database; Ensure security of the paper-based forms; Routinely perform data quality checks as guided by the research guidelines and database sampling; Generate reports from the database to assess site performances; Prepare & participate in data review meetings or trainings; Perform any other duties assigned by supervisor
Qualifications
Minimum of a Diploma in Social Sciences/Computer Studies or any other relevant qualifications; 5 “O” Levels including English, Science and Mathematics; At least 2 years post graduate experience in data capturing and data management within health facilities; Certificate in M&E will be an added advantage; Computer literacy (ICDL) certificate is an added advantage;
Skills, experience and competences
Good knowledge of HIV prevention, treatment and care issues in Zimbabwe, particularly in the area of PMTCT; Experience in data capturing or typing; Excellent computer skills; Good attention to detail; Good communication and interpersonal skills.
