Main responsibilities
Strategic Planning

Financial Management
Monitoring all budgets through budget preparation, actual expenditure monitoring and ensuring that all expenditures are adequately authorized; Ensuring the timely undertaking of annual audits
Public Relations
Maintain contact with key stakeholders including funding partners, government and non-state actors working in children's rights sector. Ensure the formulation and implementation of a communications strategy. Understand and manage the internal and external environmental factors and landscape that will impact the organisation. Facilitate communication between Board and funding partners. Facilitate organisational capacity strengthening
Talent attraction, development and retention
Develop human resources plans that support the attainment of the organizational objectives and implement recruitment and selection procedures that result in the attraction and selection of high caliber staff. Develop and implement strategies to motivate and retain this high caliber staff who are dedicated to outstanding performance.
Other responsibility
Perform such other functions on behalf of the organisation as assigned
Education
Relevant University Degree (Law, Social Sciences, Development Studies, Economics); Administration qualification, MBA or equivalent an added advantage
Experience
5 years' experience in a senior management position, preferably in the development sector; Knowledge of rights-based approaches to development an added advantage

JF Kapnek Trust is seeking to fill the vacancies of OI/ART Nurses based in the following districts, Kwekwe; Chiredzi; Gutu; Masvingo; Mwenezi; Gokwe. The OI/ART will be seconded to MoH. Retired nurses encouraged to apply.
The OI/ART Nurses reports to the Matron/Sister in Charge. The OI/ART Nurse is a registered nurse with OI/ART experience and Integrated HIV Training; Rapid HIV Testing and Counselling who is assigned to work at a health facility.
The broad objectives of the position will be
Initiate eligible clients on Anti-retroviral (ARV) Treatment; Conduct Provider Initiated Testing and Counselling as per national guidelines; Documentation of clients in the relevant monitoring and evaluation tools(registers)
Qualifications and experience required
Registered General Nurse; HIV Integrated Training or Adult and Pediatric Art training; Rapid HIV Testing and Counseling; Current registration with Zimbabwe Nursing Council; Knowledge of National AIDS and TB guidelines; Familiar with M&E tools for OI/ART management; A team player who can work with minimum supervision

Four (4) Project Assistants: Organization for Public Health Interventions and Development (OPHID)

The Organization for Public Health Interventions and Development (OPHID) PVO 31/16 with funding from UNICEF in close collaboration with the Ministry of Health and Child Care is implementing a three-month project to contribute to the reduction of mortality and morbidity attributable to malnutrition and HIV in children under 5 and their careers in 4 drought affected districts of Mangwe, Matobo, Gwanda and Gweru districts. OPHID is looking for 4 Project Assistants to work in each of these 4 districts.
Overall responsibilities
The main responsibilities of the Project Assistant are:
to provide sensitization and mentoring on HIV Testing and Counselling services; To provide initiation of HIV positive clients on Anti-Retroviral Treatment (ART) at malnutrition entry points in all health centres in the district; To strengthen community health service linkages; To ensure documentation of care and treatment and prepare monthly reports on services rendered for submission to supervisor.
Minimum Requirements
Diploma/Degree or relevant Nursing qualification, RGN; Registration with Zimbabwe Nursing Council; Knowledge of National AIDS and TB guidelines; Certificate in Rapid HIV Testing and Counselling; Training in HIV Integrated Training; Paediatric experience in HIV Care and Treatment preferred; Training in IYCF and CMAM an advantage; Familiar with M&E tools for Nutrition and HIV management; Ability to communicate in both local languages (Shona and Ndebele) is essential; Willingness to travel throughout the assigned district; Preference will be given to candidates coming from the locality

A local membership based capacity building organization is looking for 3 student interns for its 3 stations in Zhombe, Murambinda and Dema.

IPC Consultant: PSI Zimbabwe

PSI/Zimbabwe is searching for short term technical and operation assistance to the Interpersonal Communication (IPC) program for a 4-month period. This position will be based in Harare, Zimbabwe and reports to the Director of Social Marketing, PSI Zimbabwe. PSI/Z is implementing a three-year project meant to translate market research findings and insights into actionable activities to improve Voluntary Medical Male Circumcision (VMMC) program uptake by men. The project is focused on two pillars of VMMC demand creation: Mass Media and Inter Personal Communication (IPC). Human Centered design (HCD) concepts will be considered during the entire duration of the project. Several changes have been implemented under the VMMC IPC model. IPC model changes included the revision of the IPC tool kit, training manual, review of IPC processes, IPC structure, IPC remuneration and IPC support and supervision, that were piloted for 8 months. Currently, IPC agents contribute an average of 72%, yet this contribution could be higher and yield more outputs. The project was reviewed in June 2017, and noted to have several processes that PSI Zimbabwe will require longer term assistance to implement. Key gaps noted in the review process included, but not limited to: Inadequate number of IPC Agents; Limited mentoring and supervision of IPC Agents; Inadequate planning to link VMMC demand and supply; Frustrated field personnel due to lack of IPC skill; limited linkages between IPC and Mass Media implementation and; non-implementation of VMMC Champions for demand creation. Further, the VMMC program is undergoing demand creation structural changes, with new personnel being added at district and regional levels.

General description of the role
Reporting to the Field Officers, the Casual Data Capturer Clerks will be primarily responsible for conducting beneficiary registration in the target districts. The registered beneficiaries must be captured into a beneficiary database which is a key tool for the monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning system for the project
Key responsibilities
Ensure that data for all beneficiaries is entered and saved at the end of each day; Each Data entry clerk to complete assigned tasks as given by Field Officer; The data entry clerks to ensure that all hard copies are filed and submitted to the project Field officer; Data entry clerks are expected to be familiar with the GOAL Code of Conduct, and uphold the terms of this code during their engagement with GOAL
Qualification and skills
5 subjects passed at ordinary level; Certificate in ICDL, Computers, IT or equivalent qualification is an added advantage; Experience in data capturing; Experience in working with rural communities in development work desirable; Proficiency in Microsoft computer packages; Ability to communicate formally in the indigenous language of the preferred district a MUST; Ability to work under pressure, with minimum supervision.

Monitoring Evaluation Accountability and Learning Coordinator: GOAL Zimbabwe

GOAL started operating in Zimbabwe in 2002 as an implementing partner for the World Food Programme (WFP). Since then, the organisation has evolved and is now working in three programme areas-Food Security and Economic Wellbeing; Health; and Nutrition and Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH).
General description of the role
Reporting to the Assistant Country Director the Monitoring Evaluation Accountability and Learning (MEAL) Coordinator will be responsible for designing, planning and the overall implementation of MEAL activities in GOAL Zimbabwe. The MEAL Coordinator will also represent GOAL at relevant fora. The incumbent must have sound proposal development, project management and budgeting skills. S/he will be responsible for preparing donor reports and support the GOAL management team in developing internal policies and guidelines.
Key responsibilities
Develop and implement a clear MEAL framework for all projects within GOAL Zimbabwe; Design and give relevant support on baseline surveys, midterm and end of project evaluations; Oversee and guide the preparation of results frameworks ensuring that all projects have relevant and appropriate frameworks; Manage the MEAL budget;
Work with partners and programme stakeholders to ensure that MEAL obligations are met; Support all consultants on MEAL functions for GOAL Zimbabwe and ensure that all assignments by the consultants are carried to meet high quality standards; Prepare programme implementation plans and reports together with field teams; Guide the field based teams in the proper implementation of the MEAL components for each project
Qualification and skills
A good first Degree in Agriculture, Rural Development, Monitoring and Evaluation or equivalent. A relevant Masters’ Degree will be an added advantage; At least five years’ experience in implementing food security and livelihoods projects; Experience in managing more than two grants; Experience in managing vouchers and cash for work projects is an added advantage; Ability to train others in the use of participatory methodologies; Conversant with monitoring and evaluation tools and approaches; Strong analytical and strategic planning skills; Experience in developing and writing proposals; Excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to work well with others. Portray good leadership traits; Demonstrable understanding and experience of cross cutting issues such as Gender, Child Protection and Environmental management
