Position overview

Filing
Prior to filing ensure that all payment documents have been stamped 'PAID'; Maintain an organized and well-documented (all files must be labeled properly and visibly) and sequential filing system for all cash disbursement vouchers; Archiving of prior years’ finance documents as instructed by the Finance Manager.
Skills and abilities
Ability to carry out responsibilities independently with minimal technical support; Good communication skills that function across a diversity of cultures; Good at role of facilitator and team player in solving problem
Qualifications and experience

AITAF (Agro – Initiative Technical Assistance Facility) is the third phase extension of the Agro-Initiative Zimbabwe (AIZ) program, targeting to offer focused and customized technical assistance to 3 selected agribusinesses over a 13 months period starting October 1, 2016 and ending October 31, 2017. The program’s technical assistance package will be focusing on smart agriculture, gender integration and sustainable inclusive business models that provide value chain actors with linkages to finance and markets.
Scope
The consultant will be responsible for building capacity of staff, developing and implementing ISO and Food Safety Management systems for a Seed house and a fast food restaurant respectively. The consultant will work in collaboration with the Internal Processes Consultant when working on the Seed House Assignment.
Tasks
Tasks will include, but is not limited to, the following:
Scope and pre-audit the organisations and conduct GAP analysis; Develop Action plans based on GAP Analysis; Recommend the most appropriate standard(s) from the ISO family (for the Seed House); Develop a Quality and Food Safety Management System (and HACCP) for the restaurant; Train Staff from the 2 companies, identify and train Management Representatives and HACCP; Team Leaders where relevant; Develop and Implement the 2 standards – ISO and Food Safety (Policies, procedures and work documents); Develop pipeline for certifications
Deliverables
GAP Analysis report for the 2 companies within the 1st week
ISO and Food Safety strategy report in 2nd week
Quality Manuals from week 2 to week 7
HACCP system in week 7
Training reports from week 3 and week 7
Certification pipeline in week 8
Skills required
Demonstrated competences and experience in carrying out similar projects; Experience in compliance, accounting and or auditing; Business management skills to translate the correct internal controls to the business; Relevant educational qualifications in accounting, business management or agribusiness
Impact
The work will provide AITAF clients with the necessary business insights to scale their business, specifically in relation to improving the smallholder business models, and in turn the lives and livelihoods of the farmers they work with.

DCA is a Danish based non-profit international organization registered and operating as an NGO in Zimbabwe since July 2015. DCA supports humanitarian assistance, agricultural development interventions, community based Disaster risk reduction and value chain development. The Prolog Officer reports to the Head of Finance (HoF) and he/she will work in close cooperation with Head of Programme, Programme Officers, and Project Managers. The Prolog officer is responsible for procurement and logistics of DCA all its partners.
The specific tasks of the Prolog Officer are (but not limited to)
Ensure procurement implementation is carried out in compliance to the DCA Procurement Manual 5th edition, including:
Ensure that DCA and partners carry out procurement in accordance with the DCA Procurement Manual 5ed. and UNDP rules, Launching and implementing procurement procedures and tenders in accordance with the DCA Procurement, Manual and in cooperation with partners, the HOF and HQ Procurement Advisor in CPH. This includes entering Framework Contracts on behalf of DCA and partners. Contract administration; Working with and updating the Procurement Plan; Managing DCA procurement documentation and support partners in establishing proper filing system; Assist and support partners in working with the Procurement Plan and implement procurement according to the DCA Procurement Manual; Facilitate and ensure joint procurement and coordination between partners; Be fully familiarized with DCA’s and UNDP Procurement Rules and Regulations; Capacity building of partners in the DCA Procurement Manual and donor rules; Monitoring the implementation of procurement in cooperation with partners; Reporting to donor on procurement
Ensure that Logistics are managed correctly, including:
Logistics, Management of DCA assets, inventory, storage and fleet in accordance with the DCA Logistics Manual and Admind system; Quality assurance of partners logistics systems and documentation; Assists partners in ensuring proper logistics systems to manage assets, inventory, storage and fleet
Main Point of Contact for partners regarding procurement and logistics for the UNDP project; Liaison and coordination with the DCA Programme- and Project Manager and the HOF in Liaison and coordination with the DCA HQ Procurement Advisor in CPH
Requirements
Postgraduate degree in Business/financial Administration; At least 5 years of experience from similar procurement operations in NGO’s; Experience with planning and implementing procurement of supply, service and works contract; Experience with capacity building and working with partners on procurement; Previous experience of working with procurement and logistics under UNDP funded projects is an added advantage; Good understanding for procurement and logistics accountability to donors, including monitoring to avoid corruption and fraud; NGO experience highly desirable; Ability to work in multi-cultural and multi-national environment; Excellent skills in written and oral English language; Computer literate; Willingness to travel to remote areas

Position overview
The Finance Assistant will be responsible for assisting the Finance Manager in providing effective financial management support for Chiredzi Field Office.
Specific duties and responsibilities
Managing all aspects of day to day operations of accounting department in field office; Assist in the implementation of all Finance policies and procedures; Ensure Cash Transfer and Voucher Programming SOPs are adhered to specifically on finance systems and procedures; Prepare cash transfers’ and vouchers’ reconciliation for Cash Transfer and Voucher Programming implementation and keep file and track records on payments and monthly signed beneficiary lists;; Produce monthly and quarterly internal and donor finance reports for review by the Finance Manager; Perform pre-audit checks for Donor and Statutory Audits; All other duties assigned by Finance Manager
