Zimbabwe AIDS Prevention Project (ZAPP) is looking for suitably qualified and motivated individuals to fill the positions that has arisen at its Children Tariro (CT) Project in Gutu, Behaviour Change Programme Mwenezi District, Masvingo and FACE programme Chitungwiza District.
Reporting to the Provincial Manager
The District Manager will be stationed in Mwenezi District Masvingo and will be responsible for running the programme at district level.
Duties
Undertake monthly advocacy and support visits to all wards in the district; Support district leadership, support officer and Behavior Change Facilitators (BCFs) in behavioral change promotion activities; Ensure mainstreaming of behavioral change promotion into all major district events; Train various stakeholders on behavior change in HIV prevention; Oversee and guide the recruitment, training, support and supervision of BCFs; Compile and submit monthly and/or quarterly progress reports to the Provincial Manager; Data collection, analysis and submission of data each month according to stipulated deadlines
Qualifications and experience
Degree in Social Sciences, Public Health or equivalent; A master's degree will be an added advantage; Certificate in Project Monitoring and Evaluation; Experience working at senior level in the area of RH/HIV and AIDS, Public Health or Health Promotion; Sound knowledge and understanding of HIV prevention programming; Experience in multi-sectoral development approaches; Clean class 4 driver's license

Key specific duties
Ensure quality data collection in the whole district; Conduct monthly data collation, assessments across the districts; Assist in strengthening existing M&E systems in the District, including timely data entry into DATIM every month; Assist in identifying gaps and facilitate the development of M&E - related capacities at site level to ensure high quality data is collected; Monitoring the use of real-time data collection and site support through the use of session forms; Undertake routine data assessments to establish key variable disaggregation; Establish sentinel sites that could be used as evaluation sites for the program; Work with Department of child welfare and Probation services to prepare monthly and quarterly programmatic performance reports
Qualifications

The SIE Officer will provide overall strategic support to sites within Chitungwiza covered by the program,while maintaining a close liaison with the District Health Information Office. The incumbent will work towards strengthening monitoring and information management systems in order to empower sites to use data at local level.
Key specific duties  
Ensure quality data collection in the whole district; Conduct monthly data collation, assessments across the districts; Convene monthly data triangulation meetings with all sites in the district; Assist in strengthening existing M&E systems in the District, including timely data entry into DATIM every month; Assist in identifying gaps and facilitate the development of M&E - related capacities at site level to ensure high quality data is collected; Monitoring the use of real-time data collection and site support through the use of ODK; Undertake routine data assessments to establish key variable disaggregation; Provide technical support to sites that are using electronic medical records such as ePMS, as well as district data entry into DHIS2; Use GIS maps to plot pediatric densities; Establish sentinel sites that could be used as evaluation sites for the program; Perform cohort analysis in the district to establish pediatric HIV transmission rates at 6 weeks, 6 months, 9, 12, 15, 18, and 24 months; Perform cohort analysis in the district to determine maternal retention in care at 6, 9, 12, 15, 18, and 24 months; Work with DHIO to prepare monthly and quarterly programmatic performance reports
Qualifications
A degree in Mathematics, Statistics, public health, or social sciences is desirable; Minimum of three years’ experience and demonstrated practical skills in monitoring HIV and AIDS, TB, care and support programs; Have knowledge of quantitative data collection systems in the MOH; Have analytical skills using  statistical packages such as SPSS, STATA, Epi-Info, SAS or any other data analysis software; Experience working with multiple stakeholders and familiarity with PEPFAR indicators and reporting requirements will be an added advantage; The ability to speak local languages in the respective area; Clean Class 4 Drivers licence.

Essential qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences (Development Studies, Social Work, Sociology, Psychology or other related studies); A Master’s degree is an added advantage; Project management or M&E qualification
Essential skills and or working experience
A minimum of five years of programme/project management experience, preferably in a NGO management position; Verifiable track record of successful fundraising, i.e. project design and proposal writing; Experience of working with institutional funders an added advantage; Excellent communication skills (written, presentation and interpersonal); Basic Human Resources Management skills; Experience with or demonstration of sound financial management skills/experience (budgeting and budgetary control, financial reporting); Sound experience in programme management and design.

Key areas of accountability

Social and Behavior Change / Communication Officer: The Manoff Group, Inc. (TMG)

TMG is a leader in social and behavior change communication (SBCC). Its innovative Behavior-Centered Programming approach is a practical methodology for realizing measurable and sustained behavior change at the individual, community and organizational levels. Integral to our work is policy advocacy, capacity development among stakeholders, and behavioral monitoring and evaluation to strengthen a program’s impact on nutrition.
Project summary
TMG is seeking qualified applicants with experience in implementing food security, nutrition, and agriculture programs such as Development Food Assistance Programs (DFAP) or Multi-Year Assistance Programs (MYAP) for the USAID Amalima Project. Amalima builds on existing communal initiatives in order to sustainably improve household food security and nutrition by improving access to and availability of food, community resilience to shocks, and nutrition and health among mothers and children in the districts of Tsholotsho, and Bulilima, Gwanda and Mangwe. This position will report to the SBCC Advisor and is based in Bulawayo with frequent travel to rural areas within program districts (approximately 40% time).
Position summary
Provide ongoing support to field staff and volunteers to implement a program-wide social behavior change strategy and communication activities, through supportive supervision and on-site technical assistance. Under the direction of the SBCC Advisor, liaise with Team Leads and Field Officers to coordinate implementation of community-level communication activities.
