Job Description
Designing and implementation of monitoring and evaluation processes and frameworks to track delivery against set goals and objectives; Participate in the development of the M&E framework for the project; Coordinate and oversee the following M&E processes: Baseline survey, Annual crop assessment, sales assessment, end of project evaluation and other surveys; Management of relevant and appropriate data for an effective M & E system to be utilized in the monitoring of strengths, weaknesses and gaps in the existing approaches and methodologies; Management and analysis of data collected for assessment of project progress and areas of improvement; Develop and maintain updated databases for all project aspects; Oversee and review of monitoring and evaluation systems and activities; Develop and maintain linkages with service providers and other stakeholders for effective monitoring & evaluation; Organize stakeholder visits; Documenting project activities and generating periodic reports to guide in pursuing project and organizational mandate; Making creative and intuitive decisions regarding the production of established M & E reports; Generating project related research data to inform future programming; Attend meetings, conferences and workshops and make presentations; Develop various communication tools and publications showing project impact; Preparing relevant reports; Managing and appraising staff (regular follow-up visits) to ensure project activities are properly carried out; Provide regular updates to the director on project situations with regards to M & E and related project areas; Ensuring that all sub-activities are aligned to the organizational and project’s main goal; Developing models and innovative processes for organizational and communities’ beneficiation; Participating at various platforms at district, provincial and national level which are strategic in improving project performance and best practices; Reviewing project reports and ensuring that all planned activities, targets and results are outlined before onward submission to the donor; Carry out other activities that may be assigned from time to time.

A Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Graduate Internship
opportunity has arisen in a multi-donor funded complex resilient project under
the Sizimele Consortium in Bulawayo. The M&E Intern will particularly be
responsible for assisting the M&E officer for the ZRBF programme

The intern will
be responsible for the following:
Working closely with and under the supervision of the Sizimele Consortium MEL Officer to strengthen partner capacities on M&E; Tracking project progress against implementation work plans, provide technical input into the design and implementation of the M&E system; Reviewing and refining M&E systems and tools, preparation of meeting minutes, monthly, quarterly and annual work plans and reports, regular field visits for data quality control and problem solving, and document successes, challenges, lessons learned and good practices from program implementation; Collaborating with field staff on hard copy and electronic registration of beneficiaries on Tablets, administering surveys, conducting focus group discussions, and key informant interviews; Participating in beneficiary validations and verifications and produce succinct reports; You will have exposure to the accountability, feedback and complaints handling and response mechanism and will participate in gender, power, and age analysis; Exposure to the online Magpi database and other data capturing and analysis software such as SPSS and CSPro. You will contribute to the strengthening of partner relationships and will perform any other duties as assigned; Any other duties assigned by M&E officer.

Risk Reduction (DRR) Officer reporting to the project Coordinator in Bulawayo
as follows:
Key Functions
Assist the Programme Coordinator in overall management, monitoring and coordination of the Disaster Risk Reduction activities in 57 targeted wards Lupane, Matobo and insiza districts; Promote DRR mainstreaming within Sizimele Consortium through capacity building and on-going coaching and mentoring; Research, compile, summarise and present information/data on Community Managed Disaster Risk Reduction (CMDRR), especially from the High Frequency Monitoring System; Participate in DRR feasibility studies and assessments and take oversight in the development of DRR preparedness and response plans and implementation based on findings and lessons learned, ensuring Community Based Structures remain active and functional; Mainstream peace building and conflict transformation in CMDRR activities, ensuring establishment of early warning systems for potential disasters; Participate in Civil Protection Unit (CPU) meetings and activities of national government, relevant line ministries, and civil society organisations and activities for effective relationship and strategic partnership with relevant stakeholders; Document pre and post-training assessments, and develop timely progress and final reports as required; Support in the development and/or contextualisation of training aids and information tools ranging from posters, short manuals, and brochures and content development in close coordination with the relevant stakeholders; Contribute to overall Consortium Disaster Risk Reduction Programme strategy, promote and facilitate practical integration of risk reduction including climate adaptation; Conduct DRR awareness and training sessions in target communities and conduct adapted disaster drills and emergency simulations; Perform any other duties as assigned

A local NGO is seeking to recruit
a dynamic and innovative Project Officer for its HIV and SGBV prevention
project to be implemented in Silobela, Zibagwe District. The project aims to
reduce the rate of HIV infection among adolescent girls and young women with
disabilities (AGYWwDs) by building their practical knowledge on SRH, HIV and
life skills through trainings and economic empowerment initiatives done at
family level. Parents and caregivers of AGYWwDs are also reached with parenting
training offered in support group structures.
Qualifications and Experience
BSc degree in the field Public Health, Social Sciences, Development Studies or other related fields; 4 years relevant experience with at least three years in an NGO environment implementing SRH activities for young people; Proven experience in project cycle management, monitoring and evaluation, resource mobilisation, basic financial management, community mobilisation, training, advocacy, mentorship and coaching; Dynamic, self-driven, exhibit high initiative and work under minimum supervision with computer software skills (standard applications in MS office); Experience in working in a multicultural environment and knowledge of Ndebele an added advantage; Ability to ride a motorcycle.

The Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI) Zimbabwe, is seeking
a Program Officer to support the Ministry of Health and Child Care (MoHCC) in
executing their Malaria Elimination Program. The National Malaria Control
Program (NMCP) within MoHCC recently expanded the malaria elimination campaign
from 7 districts in Matabeleland South province to a total of 20 districts
across 4 provinces (Matabeleland South, Matabeleland North, Midlands, and
Mashonaland West). The Program Officer will be the focal point for CHAI's
provincial engagement. The Program Officer will provide direct day to day
support to the provincial malaria team (PEDCO, PEHO, and other team members) to
support execution of malaria strategies and activities. The Program Officer
will serve as a primary support person for the province, with the exclusive
focus on activities that further the province's malaria elimination agenda.
Responsibilities
Work as an integral part of the provincial team to provide focused support on the execution of the malaria elimination strategy; Support annual and monthly planning of malaria activities in the province; Serve as a liaison between CHAI's malaria technical teams and the province to support translation of global guidance on elimination into successful implementation at provincial level; Work very closely with provincial and district health teams to strengthen adherence to surveillance algorithms and tools, including participating in training of district and health facility staff as needed; Support supervision of district health teams to ensure high standards in surveillance, including timely case investigation, and accurate reporting; Provide robust analytical and data management support to present progress in implementation of the malaria elimination strategy; Provide policy and strategic advice on elimination specific and general malaria debates; Any other duties as assigned by manager

and nutrition, livelihoods and humanitarian; Solid knowledge of the NGO sector,
