Development Office. The main objective is to empower women and girls by amplifying their voices,

promoting accountability, and enhancing their access to health rights and quality services. The

project will be implemented in Masvingo district (continuation Year 2) and Gweru district (inception)

in Zimbabwe.


 *Duties and Responsibilities*

Provide administrative, programmatic and logistical support to the Program Officer in

implementing project activities in the district.

• Assist in initiating and launching the "Know Your Health Rights" campaign targeting women

and girls in communities in Masvingo and/or Gweru districts. This includes coordinating

meetings, workshops, and training sessions.

• Support the coordination of existing Community-Led Monitoring (CLM) community-based

partners (NGOs and CBOs) to gather evidence on barriers and challenges affecting women

and girls' access to health services and rights.

• Assist in strengthening existing Health Centre Committees at the health facility level. Ensure

meaningful involvement and representation of women and girls, particularly Dreams

ambassadors and Community Health Rights Champions.

• Provide support in revitalizing and strengthening existing multidisciplinary and multisectoral

District Task Teams (DTT). This includes logistical arrangements for meetings and

• Assist in developing position papers and policy briefs based on emerging issues from Health

Centre Committees, District Task Teams, and Provincial Health Executive meetings.

• Support the Program Officer in conducting program monitoring, evaluation, and support

visits to assess program implementation fidelity, progress, and effectiveness.

• Represent Pangaea Zimbabwe in relevant community, district, and provincial-level program

 *Duties and Responsibilities*

Provide administrative, programmatic and logistical support to the Program Officer in

implementing project activities in the district.

• Assist in initiating and launching the "Know Your Health Rights" campaign targeting women

and girls in communities in Masvingo and/or Gweru districts. This includes coordinating

meetings, workshops, and training sessions.

• Support the coordination of existing Community-Led Monitoring (CLM) community-based

partners (NGOs and CBOs) to gather evidence on barriers and challenges affecting women

and girls' access to health services and rights.

meaningful involvement and representation of women and girls, particularly Dreams

ambassadors and Community Health Rights Champions.

The Job

Reporting to the Head Underwriting, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

• Assessing and accepting facultative business offers from cedents.

• Preparing renewal drives on targeted accounts and cedents.

• Participating in risk management surveys for underwriting recommendations

• Recording underwriting information in SICSNT

• Ensuring placement of facultative offers above retention on the approved company treaty.

• Conducting records management of facultative documents

• Planning methodologies for renewal and acquisition of business to meet the target for the

assigned portfolios.

• Planning business relations and communication strategies for the assigned portfolios

• Formulating and executing marketing activities in line with the marketing strategy

• Developing and maintaining effective business relationships with internal and external clients

• Assisting credit control department on premium collection.

• Executing client training in line with the approved programme



The Person

The ideal candidate must possess the following:

• Degree in Risk Management or Insurance.

• Professional Qualification a must i.e. AIIZ, ACII, AIISA

• At least 3 years’ experience in a similar position with at least 1 year in supervisory role.

• Good knowledge of Facultative practices.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
