Kamativi Mining Company seeking a skilled and reliable Control Room Operator to join our team. The incumbent will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining the electrical systems within our control room, ensuring the smooth flow and efficient operation of our Substations. You will be the first point of contact for electrical issues, diagnosis of problems, and coordinating with field technicians to resolve them.

Responsibilities:

Monitor electrical systems and equipment in the control room.

ldentify and troubleshoot electrical faults and failures.

Respond to alarms and coordinate with field technicians.

Maintain aceurate records of system performance and maintenance activities.

Contribute to the development and implementation of preventative maintenance programs.

Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations.

PERSON SPECIFICATIONS

Proven experience in electrical maintenance and troubleshooting. preferably in a control room environment.

Strong understanding of electrical systems and equipment.

Ability to diagnose and resolve electrical problems quickly and effectively.

•Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.

Knowledge of relevant safety regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Formal electrical qualifications (National Diploma, Trade Certificate, Switching licence ).

TASKS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Checks payroll to ensure that all input has been effected and dispatch pay-slips to the respective employees.

Attends to and resolving project employee queries.

Processes termination papers for all employees leaving the project employment. Any other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Action for Youth Foundation Trust is a registered not-for-profit, non-governmental organization that seeks to create a safe and conducive violent-free environment for Youths living with HIV, Orphans and Vulnerable Children and Youths in Key & Vulnerable Populations in Zimbabwe.

Action for Youth Foundation Trust is looking for a Programs Assistant who will be supporting the Programs Coordinator in implementing Action for Youth Foundation Trust's Drug & Substance Abuse Prevention activities under the Churches & Communities Initiative at voluntary basis.

Duties and responsibilities:

- Training of students, religious leaders, teachers and communities on the effects of drug & substance abuse.

- Facilitating during community dialogues on effects of drug and substance abuse.

- Attending training and disseminating feedback to the program staff.

- Report writing after activities.

- Providing counseling and referral services to Young People who use drugs.

- Assisting the Programs Coordinator in preparing workplans and budgets.

- Finance requests, program execution, and liquidation in accordance with the organization's finance procedures and timelines.

- Assisting in facilitating Stakeholder engagement on drug risk reduction and policing.

- Any other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Qualifications and Experience

- At least a Degree in Social Work or Psychology or any other social science is a must.

- At least 2 years of experience working with an organization that provides support to the Young People who Use Drugs.

- CPD Certificate in Mental Health Counseling or equivalent is an added advantage.

- Recent graduates are the most preferred.
