WebZim is looking for Web Designers and Developers (2 Part Time & 1 Full Time)
Duties
·         Build, deploy, optimize, and maintain responsive websites for projects of all sizes
·         Ensure that all design elements, templates and finished solutions work within a variety of browsers, devices, and screen settings, while meeting high quality control standards
·         Provide support requests and website changes for clients, including troubleshooting issues and coming up with solutions that align with the clients’ goals
·         Assist clients with making good decisions that will improve their online experience for their visitors
·         Analyzing web traffic metrics and creating Google Analytics reports.
·         Setting up and maintaining WordPress instances
Required Skills
·         Understanding of and experience with Web designing & development, Web content management systems and Search Engine Optimization

·         Excellent ability to communicate both technically and non-technically to clients about the status of their projects/tasks
·         At least 2 years web development experience

Project background
The Government of Zimbabwe (GoZ), through the Ministry of Health and Child Care (MoHCC), is implementing a Results Based Financing (RBF) Programme in partnership with Catholic Organisation for Relief and Development Aid (Cordaid) as the Project Implementation Entity (PIE) and with grant support from the World Bank (Health Sector Development Support Project - HSDSP). The project’s goal is “to increase coverage of quality maternal and child health interventions”. It started in July 2011 in two front-runner districts and is currently being implemented in 18 rural and 2 urban districts covering 405 health facilities. Cordaid is seeking to recruit a suitably qualified Data Analyst as indicated below;-
Main responsibilities
Reporting to the Country Director, the DA will be responsible for the collection and preparation of data for detailed analysis of programme key indicators and identifying data base development needs and implement solutions with the intention of providing capacity building to users on all the developments done to the system and at the same time highlight any information management needs. The DA is expected to work in an inter-disciplinary team environment within the Cordaid, Ministry of Health and Child Care, the World Bank and also with other health professionals and other development partners.
Purpose of the position
The Data Analyst will provide programmatic and technical organisational development support including system development and assessing of data and reports on the monitoring and evaluations conducted in-conjunction with the information verified at the Health Facilities. Supporting further the development of M&E systems and data collection tools; including data base development; focal point for various analytical researches that may be carried out by donors, Ministry of Health and Child Care and/or CORDAID; providing adequate information for the production of standard reports and work in close collaboration with the Health Expert and the Database Manager in ensuring the program is in compliance to internal and external World Bank and Programme requirements.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities
Developing and implementing strategies for data quality control within the organisation of RBF; Contributing to the continuous development of DHIS2 and its adaptation to our programme data; Articulating complex data through the extraction of data, development of graphs, reports, and presentations; Leading the processes of data cleaning, data presentation and other data management aspects; In collaboration with others, interpreting data and develop recommendations based on findings from the analysed data sets; Analysing and solving issues/problems with current and planned systems as they relate to the integration and management of RBF Health Information data; Contributing to research development, design, and implementation of any research pertaining to the evaluation and or re/design of the program; Supporting and giving recommendations on the design of programme monitoring and evaluation study; conducting and participating in programme evaluation and preparing strategic documents/
reports; Verifying the quality of RBF Subsidies invoices due for payment and ensuring that proper feedback is given to Health Field Officers (HFO); Supporting the MOHCC and the HFOs in generating accurate data and verification to ensure donor compliance - identify gaps and capacity development needs and provide continuous feedback towards a smooth transition phase; Disseminating institutional learning through presentations and publications to internal and external audience and also assist in updating programme manuals and other reference documents; Manage ad hoc report development as and when required by the donor.
Required qualifications and experience
Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Information Management (Statistician or Epidemiologist), OR Computer Science and OR Computer Science and Mathematics, OR Computer Programming, or any other related fields, with at least 3 years working experience in the field of public health and/or development. Master’s degree in a relevant field is an advantage; Extensive affinity for statistical packages such as SPSS, STATA, SAS, etc. plus open source software and development; Experience in working with and/or training of Health Information Systems or Health projects supported by databases such as DHIS 2, AfyaPro and/or other would be a plus.
Knowledge and skills
Strong analytic abilities, with a proven track record of driving insightful findings from quantitative and qualitative data; Ability to develop contextually rich and visually compelling presentations to communicate complex concepts; Excellent skills in use of at least one database package including writing queries and generating reports; Strong initiative and organizational skills; Demonstrated ability to communicate technical material with colleagues from a variety of backgrounds, in a respectful and diplomatic manner; Awareness of broad strategic issues related to data management and use; Knowledge of the design and use of health management information systems; Knowledge of issues related to hosting a database on a local server and server maintenance; Familiarity with monitoring and evaluation of data related to the health sector

UZ-UCSF Collaborative Research Programme is seeking suitable, trained and qualified applicants to fill the post of Medical Laboratory Technician to be based in Harare. Laboratory Technicians should apply and not Laboratory Scientists. The posts are for a period of 7 months.
Qualifications
Certificate in Medical Laboratory Sciences or equivalent; Registered with the Medical Laboratory & Clinical Scientists Council of Zimbabwe; Clean Class 4 drivers’ license; Computer literate.
Responsibilities
Receive biological samples from the clinic and check for adequacy and conformity to UZ-UCSF quality standards and process accordingly; To perform HIV EIA, HIV Rapid tests, Western Blots, PCR, Syphilis serology, Hepatitis serology, FlowCytometry, PBMC separation, haematology and clinical chemistry tests and release results or store samples within stipulated turn-around times; Work and provide cover at any other site laboratory or Departments within the Central Laboratory; Maintain an accurate inventory of all laboratory items to ensure that laboratory services are not disrupted; Monitoring and recording room and fridge temperatures and maintaining reviewed records for auditable trail; General housekeeping and equipment maintenance with documented records; Ensure timely review of relevant SOPs annually and assist in writing SOPs and method validations for new test platforms; Must have excellent intergroup relations as well as excellent communication skills; Perform any other duties as assigned by the Laboratory Manager.
