Two (2) One Stop Centre Administrators: The Ministry of Women Affairs, Gender and Community Development

One-year contract with possibility of renewal

The Ministry of Women Affairs, Gender and Community Development with support from UNFPA and in close collaboration with the Ministry of Health and Child Care has established One Stop Centers (OSC) at Gwanda Provincial Hospital and Gweru Provincial Hospital. The OSCs provide all key services (Health, Psychosocial, Legal and Police Services) required by a Gender Based Violence (GBV) survivor under one roof. Under the guidance and supervision of the respective Provincial Development Officers of Midlands and Matabeleland South Provinces, the Administrator will effectively coordinate services of the different service providers. The Administrator will be responsible for ensuring that partners are available to offer services and that survivors receive the required services at the OSC. He/she will be responsible for receiving survivors and administering the registration process. The incumbent would also be responsible for referring survivors to the relevant service provider according to the survivor's needs. Data collection, filing, writing and submitting reports on time are some of the key responsibilities for this post. Other responsibilities aligned to this role include; the general smooth running of the OSC and ensuring that offices are always presentable. The Administrator will be responsible for maintaining the Ministry's visibility as the responsible authority for the OSC.
To qualify, candidates should possess the following:
Degree in Social Sciences/ Counselling; Knowledge of data collection; Certificate in counselling; ICT skills in word processing and Excel; Ability to write clearly and concisely especially report writing; Experience in GBV programming; Initiative, sound judgment and demonstrated ability to work harmoniously with staff members, Implementing Partners, and other line Ministries especially Ministry of Health and Child Care were the OSC is located; Fluency in English and Shona / Ndebele

We are seeking a vibrant and results oriented individual to take up this important position. The successful candidate will report directly to the National Family Strengthening Co-ordinator.
Responsibilities will include
Co-ordinate the identification and enrolment of programme participants by community field officers, CBOs and other community structures. (Admission committee); Conduct spot check visits as stipulated in the Program Frame Work; Provide support in FDP implementation and consistently monitor families’ progression; Draft MOUs with partners for sustainable OVCs support; Monitor programme implementation as per monitoring plan aligned to the results framework; Support communities to identify opportunities and mobilize local resources to support the needs of children, households and communities at large; Lead communities in the development of emergency preparedness plans against potential disasters; The ideal candidate should be / have
Degree in community development, social and natural sciences/disciplines such as social work, sociology, development studies, economics, agriculture, community nursing, rural development; Masters in Development Studies, Business Administration, Strategic Management and Leadership Management is a definite advantage; Minimum of 5 years’ experience in implementing community development work or OVC support; Sound understanding of child rights, child development, family and community development and working with community partners; Good communication and reporting skills, computer literacy; Understanding of SABCD (Sustainable Asset Based Community Development) and ability to apply SABCD approach and other community development participatory methodologies; A class four drivers licence is a requirement

I-TECH's activities occur primarily in the technical areas of health syst

The main purpose and role of this job is to receive, transfer, transmit calls and receive visitors at I-TECH Head Office.
Responsibilities
Creating and maintaining a hospitable reception area by ensuring the reception is clean; Coordinating and managing front office operations including the switchboard, attending to all visitors, etc; Responding to telephone calls and enquiries professionally with prompt action and appropriate transfer; Looking around office facilities to ensure that the environment is clean; Ensuring messages are accurately recorded and promptly delivered to recipients; Performing general clerical duties to include but not limited to: photocopying, faxing, mailing and filing; Receiving, recording, sorting and distributing mail, faxes, courier, etc; Managing Boardroom usage bookings to avoid double bookings; Receiving, securing and issuing stationery to Head Office staff; Performing any other tasks that may be assigned from time to time by the Supervisor
Qualifications, skills and experience
Degree in Secretarial Studies, Administration or equivalent; Must have 3 “A” Level passes; 2-3 years hands-on working experience in reception/secretarial/administration work; NGO working experience will be an added advantage; Fluency in English and one or more of the local languages spoken; Excellent writing and interpersonal communication skills; Demonstrated skills in program coordination; Demonstrated ability to work both collaboratively and independently; Good Computer skills including MS Word, Excel and Email
