A vacancy has arisen at PZAT for the position of Finance and Administration Manager whose duties and responsibilities will be the following.
Finance duties
Oversee the financial management system ensuring that it is consistent with sound accounting principles, funding agency requirements and PZAT internal control procedures; Ensure that documentation is in order for spot audits by the Grants Manager; Ensure that financial management analyses and reports are developed as needed to provide reports for management decisions; Review expenditure requests to ensure there is adequate budget cover before being shared for signature with the Country Director;
Administration duties
Provide supervision and oversight to the Office Administrator; Keep the Country Director informed about relevant administrative developments; Maintain an overview of active agreements and a tracker for milestone reports; Act as the point person for ensuring that operations, HR, and IT issues are resolved effectively and in a timely fashion; Maintain a database of training for PZAT staff and present an annual report to the Country Director; Create and maintain a travel tracker in order to monitor allowability of costs as well as expenditure levels; Ensure that the Country Director and Grants Manager are aware of overall administrative issues with the projects and assist in strategizing and problem solving; Any other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
Qualifications, skills and experience
Degree in Accountancy / CIS /CIMA /ACCA / CA (Z); Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar position that integrates excellence in accounting with overall administrative leadership (including operations, HR, and IT in addition to finance); Leadership qualities, ability to work in a team and multi task; Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal & written); Excellent organizational, planning and analytical skills; Excellent Computer skills and applications including MS Office, PowerPoint and Excel.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Faith teams; Support technical capacity building of SASA! Faith teams, through training, workshops and learning exchange visits; Support SASA! Faith teams to ensure SASA!
Monitoring and Evaluation (20%): In coordination with the SASA! Faith team and M&E Officer, ensure timely and accurate M&E plans to ensure that SASA! Faith outcomes remains on track and aligned to the programme outcomes and targets; Provide guidance and support to SASA! Faith teams on the effective use of SASA! Experience
