KEY FUNCTIONS
o Organising and coordinating meeting
logistics for GF grant for NAC and producing related reports
o Prepares meeting agendas, records

o Maintaining a proper record keeping
and retrieval system of documents relating to the grant.

o Liaising with SSRs and IPs on

Overall Responsibility
The M&E Officer will be
responsible for the monitoring and ensuring high quality and timely inputs, and
for ensuring that the Grant maintains its strategic vision and that its
activities result in the achievement of its intended outputs in a cost
effective and timely manner.
Duties and Responsibilities
Develop and strengthen monitoring,
inspection and evaluation procedures
Monitor all SR and SSR activities
progress towards achieving the project output.
Monitoring the indicators and
evaluate overall progress on achievement of results.
Monitor the sustainability of the
project’s results.
Assist the Director in coordinating
Monitoring and Evaluation related communication within NAC for the Global Fund
programmes.
Competencies·
Demonstrates integrity by modelling
the NAC and Global Fund values and ethical standards.
Ability to promote the vision,
mission, and strategic goals of NAC.
QUALIFICATIONS AND
EXPERIENCE
o University degree in a Social/
Health Sciences degree or equivalent. A Master’s Degree will be an added
advantage.
o At least 5 years’ experience in the
design and implementation of M&E/MIS in development projects. Experience in
HIV and AIDS work will be an added advantage.
o Experience in designing tools and
strategies for data collection, analysis and production of reports;
o Sound knowledge of Computer skills
is a requisite: statistical packages for data analysis (SPSS, Epi -Info, SAS,
etc) are an added advantage.
o Strong training & facilitation
skills
o Be in possession of a clean class 4
drivers’ licence.
