KEY RESULT AREAS
• Generating new business through marketing, research and sales initiatives so as to ensure loan book growth with quality assets and branch profitability.
• Screening/vetting quality clients and recommending appropriate loan product for processing.
• Maintaining closer customer contact and monitor loan use, loan servicing and progress as per applicant’s business model.
• Following up clients in arrears and update relevant credit files and records.
• Monitoring loan book performance and initiating recovery efforts on delinquent /nonperforming assets and ensuring refunds are processed for paid up clients.
• Ensuring perfection of security on all assets is done as per policy.
• Processing / lodging insurance claims with Banc assurance for deceased / retrenched clients / any other risks covered by insurance upon materialisation of the covered risks.
• Resolving all customer queries and attending to enquiries for the branch as per set service standards.
• Actioning of credit administration memoranda/ reports/returns as per policy /statute.
• Ensuring that filing of documents, loan records, expense vouchers, completed books and records is done correctly.
• Managing costs for the branch and ensuring expense analysis for the branch is done monthly with the aim 0f containing costs.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• A Business degree or equivalent. A professional qualification in Microfinance/Developmental Finance/ SME/ Social Sciences would be an added advantage.
• Three years’ credit / NGO developmental lending experience, two years of which must have been in a lending environment.

• A strong ability to build relationships and network at all levels in the business environment.
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills.
• Good communication / interpersonal skills.
• High level of integrity.

Internship - Supply & Logistics
The purpose of this internship is to support the Supply Section in a number of tasks as well as to perform a variety of procurement functions.

UNICEF ZCO is seeking an intern for a 6 month period starting April, 2018. The position will report to the Supply Officer.

The UNICEF reporting officer is committed to providing the intern with the training, guidance and support necessary to complete the below duties and responsibilities effectively and within the internship period. This will include, but not be limited to, scheduled meetings (weekly) to assess output progress, systems training (where required) and completion of required procurement tasks.

Deliverables/ Expected outputs: 
• Reviewing supply plans for local goods and assist in implementing procurement strategy;
• Daily updating of Supply Plan implementation Database;
• Assist in bid tabulations;
• Assist in drafting purchase orders for review and approval by Supply Officer and/or Supply & Logistics Manager as per Table of Authority;
• Assist in drafting cases for submissions to Contract Review Committee;
• Prepare weekly purchase orders delivery monitoring reports and vendor performance reports for review by Supply Officer;
• Documents maintenance manually and electronically - filing of Supply office records within the period specified under the deliverables;
• Package in archive boxes or files and arrange Supply records according to the filing and archiving plan;
• Make an inventory/list of the Procurement office records; retrieve all files earmarked for e-archiving/basement storage;
• Review submissions for vendor registration for completeness and advise requestors accordingly;

QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES 
Education:
