Main responsibilities
The main responsibilities of the Project Assistant are: To provide sensitization and mentoring on HIV Testing and Counselling services; To ensure that all children under five admitted for SAM and tested HIV positive are initiated on treatment; To strengthen community health service linkages; To ensure Health Care Workers and Village Health Workers at facilities document care and treatment of malnourished children under five; To prepare monthly reports on services rendered
Minimum Requirements
Diploma/Degree or relevant Nursing qualification, RGN; Registration with Zimbabwe Nursing Council; Knowledge of National AIDS and TB guidelines; Certificate in Rapid HIV Testing and Counselling; HIV Integrated Training; Pediatric HIV Care and Treatment experience preferred; Training in IYCF and CMAM an advantage; Familiar with M&E tools for Nutrition and HIV management; Ability to communicate in both local languages (Shona and Ndebele) is essential; Willingness to travel throughout the assigned district; Preference will be given to candidates coming from the locality

A leading new media organisation is looking for a young dynamic Video Director & Editor. The individual would be joining an exciting brand new media project focused on creating cutting edge online video content to reach young people with progressive information. The content will be news on social, political and cutlural issues packaged in a creative way to reach young viewers online and on social media.
We are looking for a talented Video Director & Editor who would pitch creative ideas, work on new online series, direct and edit the content while also accepting content from a pool of young contributors. The individual would need to shoot and assemble recorded footage into a finished project that matches the project’s vision and is suitable for online platforms. Ultimately, as a film and video editor, the person should be able to bring visuals and sound together in order to tell a compelling and cohesive story.
The successful candidate will be a creative and experienced media professional with a background in film, journalism, new media/social media, and competencies in film editing and graphic design. It is key that the individual is a team player and works well in a collaborative environment.
The candidate should be methodical, well organised and have the ability to manage multiple priorities. This post is being offered on a short term 3 months contract basis with possibility of renewal.
Job description
Pitch creative concepts for news shows, youth-focused series and storylines; Direct video productions and series; Edit all video productions; Review shooting script and raw material to create a shot decision list based on scenes’ value and contribution to continuity; Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the piece; Input music, dialogue, graphics and effects; Create rough and final cuts; Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running; Oversee production crew; Advise pool of contributors and receive video content from them; Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry’s best practices to maximize efficiency and quality; Use latest new media and online trends to reach target demographic; Participate in necessary trainings; Provide regular reports and statistics to the project manager
The above list is not exhaustive. Any other duties as advised by project manager may be included.
The person
Proven work experience as a video director & editor; Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages; Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio; Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation and continuity; Familiarity with special effects, 3D and compositing; Creative mind and storytelling skills; BS degree in film studies, cinematography or related field; Good reporting skills; Command of written and spoken English; Good computers skills; Tech savvy; Excellent presentation, interpersonal skills, must have self-confidence.

Job Summary
The ideal candidate will be responsible for facilitating community and stakeholder participation in implementing project activities.
Key duties and Responsibilities
• Develops weekly plan in line with scheduled project activities at community level.
• Prepares distribution plans for Non Food Items
• Conducts community mobilization and sensitization.
• Facilitates beneficiary identification and registration for the project.
• Participates in data collection, e.g. administering questionnaires, collecting statistics relevant to the project.
• Conducts community capacity building, such as training of committees and individual artisans.

Provides leadership in design and implementation of accountability, monitoring and evaluation systems and tools for sector specific Technical Programmes including grant funded projects with an emphasis on M&E supervision and technical excellence. He/she supports the Strategy, Evidence & Learning Director in ensuring that M&E systems are in place and relevant quantitative and qualitative data required for regular monitoring and for the reporting is captured/documented and stored in appropriate form.
Major Responsibilities
• Lead in the design and set up of sector technical program monitoring and evaluation frameworks (including program M&E plan, budget and data collection tools).
• Oversee monitoring and evaluation activities including the context analysis, impact evaluation, qualitative and quantitative analysis of program activities, output, outcomes, and impact, including design and testing of data collection tools, data analysis and reporting.
• Provide leadership in conducting assessments, ongoing program monitoring and reporting; provide extensive capacity building to local staff in M&E systems.
• Work with the Quality Assurance Specialist and Technical Programme Managers to ensure that accountability mainstreaming is implemented in all relevant grants and Area Programmes in their portfolio.
• Develop community-based information systems to serve as program management tools and early warning systems.
• Participate in preparation of periodical internal and external reports to ensure they are in line with program implementation plan and objectives and of high quality.
• Promote evidence based program decision making using data generated from program M&E.
• Coordinate, consolidate and document lessons learnt and best practises within the program and share information with relevant stakeholders.
• Build capacity of local D,M&E officers and facilitators in M&E deliverables, including designing evaluation data collection tools, supervising field activities, data entry and data cleaning, data analysis (qualitative and quantitative) and report writing.
