Bulawayo Centre Administrator: Legal Resources Foundation

The Legal Resources Foundation, a local legal services NGO, invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced persons for the post of Centre Administrator based in Bulawayo.
Under the supervision of the Centre Manager, the Centre Administrator is responsible for providing complete effective administrative support to Legal Resources Foundation Bulawayo in pursuance of LRF programme objectives and for the benefit of all stakeholders.
Duties and Responsibilities
Facilitate payment processing (including raising requisitions for activities and bills and ensuring they are settled on time); Preparation of monthly variance and other donor reports; Compiles reports on specific donors; Arranges travel, prepares itineraries, registers staff as need for meetings and conferences etc; Compile Centre's annual budget and links it to the work plan; Ensures all Centre assets are properly administered; Centre human resources duties; Prepares monthly, quarterly and annual statistics for the Centre for both legal services and legal education; Provision of secretarial support and running reception when necessary; Provides administrative support to lawyers and paralegals, ensuring their programmes run smoothly by providing funds, stationery, vehicles etc; Provides administrative support to the Library; Ensures availability and monitors distribution of IEC materials as well as attending to stock counts monthly; Monitors daily general office hygiene and cleanliness; Provides logistical support to ensure effective implementation of training strategy – organizing venues for workshops, travelling costs for participants and materials required for trainings; Supervision of Office Assistants; Any other duties as assigned by the Centre Manager.
Qualifications and Required Skills
Education: Minimum Diploma in Business Administration/ IAC/CIS or equivalent; IPMZ Diploma is an added advantage.
Professional Experience: Minimum three (3) years experience in an office administration preferably in an NGO environment; Solid knowledge of bookkeeping and reporting on donor funds is highly desirable.
Functional Competencies: High level of numeracy and logical thinking; Ability to establish positive working relationships at various levels, internally and externally; Strong organizational and follow-up skills; Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and spoken.
Computer skills: Knowledge of Microsoft Office package.

PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Create user solutions for the automation of OPHID environment and maintenance of OPHID ICT infrastructure
DUTIES
Design, develop and implement new software applications and interfaces using java, .Net and C# 
Prepare and customize program specifications and develop coding logic flow charts
Design and develop systems integration solutions
Design and develop report outputs as specified by users
Participate in all phases of systems development projects
Maintain existing software systems by identifying and correcting software defects

Create and maintain application databases on SQL Server and Oracle
Install and configure wireless networking equipment
Install, configure, upgrade hardware and software for all OPHID computers, laptops and peripheral equipment
Provided consultation to clients on applications, hardware troubleshooting, software and networking issues
Set up and maintain LAN and wireless routers systems for clients
Administer network and data security, including directory, group policy, firewalls, antivirus, email security, etc.
Provide for the implementation, configuration, deployment and support of systems, including, but not limited to client computing devices, mobile devices and servers
Provide platforms and specialized applications program software to create, analyse, report, convert, or transfer data
Set up cost monitoring and reporting systems and procedures

TOLLING DRIVERS (Fixed Term Contract)

The position exists in the Administration department efficient transport services. To provide transport services to ZINARA staff from work stations to their places of residence and to deliver necessary documents and merchandise to area as needed and ensure maintenance of the fleet
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 
• Drives Tolling Department staff to and from work at tollgates to ensure they get to work on time 
• Maintains a variety of records such as Vehicle Log Books, Handover Forms, Vehicle Defects. Accidents and Incidents Report Forms. Log books should be updated with information such as date, time of departure and arrival, purpose of trip, destination, and mileage and vehicle maintenance. 
• Reports any accidents or defects on the vehicles to the supervisor to ensure that the vehicles are sent for repairs. 
• Assumes responsibility for care and maintenance of the vehicle: washes vehicle and cleans inferior. Checks oil, water and batteries in vehicles to ensure that the vehicle arrives to its intended destination without any related faults and to ensure work is done timeously without any delays. 
• Report any delays due to breakdowns, weather or traffic conditions or other emergencies or in the event of irregularities relating to pick up or delivery of staff. 
• Undertakes deliveries and collections as requested by the Supervisors. 
• Preforms any other duties in the office as assigned by the immediate supervisor. 
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE 
• 5 0' Level Subjects including Maths/Accounts and English language 
• Driver's License 
• Defensive driver's certificate 
• At least Iwo (2) years' relevant experience
