Job description
The Zimbabwe Association of Church related Hospitals (ZACH) is calling for applications for 4 One Stop Centre (OSC) Legal Counsellor posts arisen in 4 districts (Umguza, Umzingwane, Chimanimani and Kwekwe) which seeks to facilitate the roll out of OSC model for providing comprehensive care to survivors of gender based violence through increasing
 survivor safety and perpetrator accountability by coordinating and linking core services, including immediate to long term health care, access to police and legal services, and culturally and age appropriate counselling services. The incumbent will facilitate access to justice for Adolescent Girls and Young Women (AGYW) affected by Gender Based Violence (GBV), linkages GBV survivors to legal services, providing legal counselling to survivors of GBV, outlining legal procedures for the aggrieved survivors of GBV in simple terms and advocate for exemption of GBV survivors from court hearings.
Key responsibilities
To make professional medical examination of survivors of GBV taking note of every detail and recording all findings accordingly; To observe keenly anything seen on the survivor; old scars, new cuts, abrasions, bruises, or anything that will prove there was trauma or a struggle; To collect, label and preserve any forensic, physical or other evidence found on the victim that could be analysed and used during prosecution; To provide medical care such as: Pregnancy prevention, Emergency medical care, STD testing, Post Prophylaxis for HIV, Referral to other appropriate services such as counselling and legal; Production of high quality reports and ensure that reports are submitted on time; Assist the M&E officer in compiling the necessary information; To perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Key responsibilities
This position provides driving support to programme staff on field visits, trainings, delivery of project commodities to sites, maintenance of clean office space and its surroundings. The incumbent also provides technical support to the maintenance of project vehicle.
Details
Drive project staff to field visits and provide other light courier services as required; Coordinate the maintenance ZACH vehicles, maintenance of vehicle log books and be responsible for general vehicle cleanliness; Assist project staff with trip planning; Receiving visitors and directing them to relevant officers; Receiving all phone calls and take messages or direct the calls to the relevant officer; Reporting faulty equipment/machinery/telephone to relevant technicians and advising staff on progress; Provide basic information and advice to visitors; Sorting, dispatching incoming and outgoing mail; General secretarial work for the association i.e. responding and typing correspondence, taking minutes, production of reports, and publications etc; Assisting in organizing workshop venues; Photocopying, binding and dispatching Minutes, handouts, Reports, meeting notices and invitations; Providing teas for meetings held within the office with visitors; Processing confidential documents/mail for programme and stakeholders

Project also aims at implementing interventions focused on agriculture with an emphasis on creating assets that communities would use to better safeguard against climate shocks; improve nutrition and income status; improved livestock management and build lasting changes to communities.
Subject to confirmation of funding, The Adventist Development and Relief Agency will be implementing a Multi-Year Food Assistance for Assets (FFA) Project.
ADRA Zimbabwe seeks to recruit highly qualified and experienced individuals who will work with different stakeholders in the Districts to successfully implement project objectives. S/he will have wide practical experience dealing with farmers, policy makers and implementers for sustainability and to ensure compliance based on the DIP and as directed by the Project Manager.
Competencies and experience
An Advanced degree in Livelihoods/ Food Security and Nutrition/ Agriculture/Engineering or related field from recognised University, with leadership experience at Supervisor/Coordinator level; Minimum 5 years working experience with smallholder farmers on Nutrition/Livelihoods and Resilience programmes (Asset creation including small stock and poultry); High level people skills, ability to build relationships with ability to identify, communicate with stakeholders; Clean Class 3/4 Driving Licence is required.

To inform and orient the woman about her legal rights and help/guide the woman to initiate legal proceedings against the abuse/violence suffered, if she is willing to do so; To coordinate/liaise with the Public Prosecutor/ local courts, to support the woman even after her case has been filed in court; To ensure here is follow-up of the GBV cases to their logical conclusion; To simplify legal procedures for the affected women; To advocate for exemption of GBV cases from court hearings; To facilitate speedy and hassle free police and court proceedings; To help aggrieved women in initiating appropriate police proceedings against the perpetrators; To advise on which laws are to be invoked for issues related to violence against AGYW; To ensure that AGYW affected by violence are not further harassed; To ensure the recording of information from the aggrieved AGYW at her home/hospital after obtaining due permissions, in case the aggrieved AGYW is unable to go to the Police Station for lodging her complaint; To facilitate recording of women’s statement under relevant law through audio-video electronic means or otherwise where ever applicable; Assist the M&E officer in compiling the necessary information; Production of high quality reports and ensure that reports are submitted on time; To perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor

The Zimbabwe Association of Church related Hospitals (ZACH) is calling for applications for 6 District Programme Officers posts arisen in 6 districts (Umguza, Umzingwane, Chimanimani, Kwekwe, Bindura and Masvingo) which seeks to facilitate the roll out of “Start Awareness Support and Action” (SASA) innovative model that focuses on changing uneven power dynamics between genders through building local activism, advocacy, community dialogue and utilization of community champions at district level as well as One Stop Centres (OSCs) in 4 districts (Umguza, Umzingwane, Chimanimani, Kwekwe)
Key responsibilities
To be the district focal person, playing a lead role in implementing and monitoring the SASA and OSC projects; Overall day to day management of OSC and direct manager for staff members. This includes coaching, ensuring co-ordination between staff and developing staff capacity; Developing site specific Standard Operational Procedure (SOPs) for the OSC; Conduct surveys and assessments to determine programming needs and program expansion and produce and disseminate survey/ assessment reports in a timely manner; Assess protection needs of survivors and identify problems/gaps and propose/prioritize timely practical actions to respond to particular need; Ensure that ethical and sound data collection and information management systems are in place for appropriate analysis, planning, evaluation, and advocacy; To collaborate effectively with key districts stakeholders; Build local activism through conducting of: Outreach services using Stop the Bus model in hot spots to bring combination prevention services targeting Adolescent Girls and Young Women (AGYW) in collaboration with HIV Testing Services (HTS), Voluntary Medical Male Circumcision (VMMC), Gender Based Violence (GBV) screening, family planning, Social Welfare, Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP), programme staff, ambassadors/champions); To play a leading role in SASA Community Champions and drama groups selection (30 Champions in each district); To be the lead in organizing District Level Training of SASA Community Champions on SASA methodology adequately covering each of the 4 SASA phases; To monitor, supervise and report on activities of SASA Community Champions; To conduct SASA Dialogue Meetings with communities linked to OSC Outreach forums; To conduct quarterly ward level AGYW led (and supported by SASA! Champions) SASA Community Awareness Meetings with families, community leaders and service providers; To conduct quarterly Advocacy and Policy Engagement meetings with Religious and Community Leaders by SASA! Champions; To conduct steering committee meetings with key stakeholders in districts/media/other organisations (at district level - 2 meetings in first quarter and once every subsequent quarter); To organize and support SASA! District Level Public Events (one event per district per year with all different groups engaged in SASA! (SASA! Champions, AGYW, religious and community leaders, health workers, police, drama troupes and community members); To participate in the Provincial Level Training for court Officials to support local court officials to better understand Violence Against Women and its connection to HIV as well as in victim friendly approaches; To participate in National Annual meetings with national policy makers from SASA! Communities - advocacy meetings to engage national policy makers from SASA! Communities (Members of Parliament, senators and chiefs from area); To document AGWY issues from SASA! for positive and consistent Gender responsive reporting through using Journalists who had been sensitized on key VAW/HIV; To participate in Annual national media conference to publicise policy issues emerging from SASA! Communities; Undertake quality control and site monitoring to ensure that services provided are according to international best practice standards; Support implementation and ensure adherence to grant work plans, budget forecast plans and monitoring and evaluation plans; Prepare and maintain/update detailed project specific work plan(s) to ensure that stated goals and objectives are met within the overall grant timeline and budget; Provide direction and monitor staff in their implementation of the work plan and quality of technical activities, share relevant information and direction to improve quality and achieve timelines; Ensure all monitoring activities are fully documented, including systematic and timely data collection as required under the grant To compilation and submission of Programme, Monitoring and Evaluation reports to ZACH timely; Any other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Program / department summary
Mercy Corps Zimbabwe is currently seeking applications from qualified candidates to fill in the above position under the Agri-Fin Mobile program, which works with partners to build sustainable models, wherein farm and crop management tools and financial services are "bundled" in affordable, platforms on mobile phone channels to promote mass uptake commercially. The program targets partners with existing financial, MNO and agricultural technical service mobile platforms or applications, or demonstrated interest in developing and investing in them, and facilitates development of a business model whereby the bundling process provides an increased value proposition for each partner, such as, increased fee income, greater outreach or reduced risks. The program has been supporting the rollout of a bundle of services that include advisory and financial services. A network of agents has been established in the respective districts to introduce these services to farmers.
Purpose
To provide event management support for the AgriTech conference to be held in May 2018
Objectives of assignment
Under direct supervision of the Communication Consultant and overall guidance of the Director of Programs, the Event Coordinator is responsible to ensure the arrangements, logistical, administrative and preparation of the above forum run timely and smoothly in high quality manner.
Scope of work
The consultant will be responsible for the following tasks: In consultation with Mercy Corps, design and document an appropriate process for the workshop leading to the desired results; In consultation with Mercy Corps, develop resource materials based on technical reports that can be used by participants of the workshop; Develop presentation materials based on the existing technical studies and materials with the assistance of the Mercy Corps Communications Consultant; Conduct the presentations if necessary (where sectoral presentations are lacking); Facilitate the workshop efficiently and effectively; Produce the workshop outcome report. This report should draw on discussions from the workshop
Deliverables
Workflow of the facilitation process submitted and agreed with Mercy Corps a week after signing contract; Resource materials shared with Mercy Corps 1 week after being contracted; Presentation materials shared with Mercy Corps team 1 week after signing of contract; Conference report submitted to Mercy Corps two days after completion of the conference
Qualifications/competencies
Graduate degree in Economics, Social Science, Business, Law or any other closely related fields; A registered company with experience in managing events for INGOS and UN agencies
Experience and competencies
3-5 years relevant work experience with government or NGOs; Highly motivated and experienced in coordinating and planning events for international and national level; Ability to liaise with government, donors and stakeholders in a professional and friendly manner; Strong analytical and writing skills with proven skills in policy recommendations and problem identification and solving; Confident, persuasive, and able to communicate very well in English; Excellent administration, organizational and time management skills; Excellent team work and participatory process skills; Flexible in working hours-ability to work evening and weekends if necessary; Ability to plan and prioritize work duties as well as work competently under pressure and tight deadlines; Consistently approaches work with energy and a positive, constructive attitude; Good computer skills; Excellent communication and reporting skills in excellent English
Remuneration and schedule of payments
All-inclusive fee will be paid. It is established on the basis of the level of responsibility of the assignment, and the experience and competencies of the individual engaged in relation to the local labor market and agreed amount between the organization and the facilitator.
