Organizational context
The Programme Associate reports to the Head of Field Office. He/she may receive indirect guidance from other sections and units relevant to the country programme(s). UNHCR Manual, Operations Plans, UN and UNHCR financial/budgetary rules and regulations will guide the work of the Programme Associate. He/she is expected to stay abreast of the challenges posed to the region by the political context, the UN and humanitarian reform and institutional developments. The incumbent is expected to have contacts within the organization and outside the duty station, as well as with partners and other stakeholders to collect information, monitor programme activities and implement administrative requirements.
Accountability
The needs of persons of concern in the country are assessed and analysed in a participatory manner using an Age, Gender and Diversity (AGD) perspective to form a firm basis for planning. Partnership agreements are established in a timely manner, regularly monitored and reported on in compliance with established guidelines and procedures.
Responsibilities
Undertake proper collection, monitoring and use of baselines, standards and indicators needed to measure and analyse programme performance, trends and target interventions; Review the implementation and performance of Partnership agreements through appropriate physical monitoring to evaluate the projects by reviewing work plans, progress reports, budgets, financial reports and expenditures; undertake field visits as required;
Essential minimum qualifications and professional experience required
Completion of Secondary education and post-secondary training/ certificate in Business Administration, Social Science, International Law or related field; Minimum 6 years of previous job experience relevant to the function; Computer skills (in MS office); Fluency in English and working knowledge of another relevant UN language or local language
Desirable qualifications & competencies
Completion of the UNHCR Learning programmes or specific training relevant to functions of the position; Good knowledge of UNHCR financial rules, procedures and processes; Knowledge of UNHCR specific programmes (MSRP, Focus, etc.); Prior exposure to UNHCR refugee operations and functions relating to office administration and programme activities

The Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Officer will support the development of organizational performance management frameworks, as well as specific program M&E needs to ensure the quality, and effectiveness of program implementation. The incumbent of this position will provide assistance to the program staff in developing performance monitoring plans during program design and implementation, creating M&E system, processes and tools, designing evaluation studies and contributing to measuring, analyzing, and reporting results.
M&E responsibilities
Work with project leads in the design, planning, and implementation of project M&E tools and strategies, and development of project indicators and monitoring of project, PEPFAR and MOHCC indicators; Work with CDC and APHL technical teams to determine the scope and nature of required evaluations (baseline, mid-term or end-term evaluations); Develop protocols, instruments (e.g. questionnaires, checklists, discussion guides and interview forms) for data collection;
Required experience and skills
Minimum qualifications (experience in the following areas): Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Biostatistics, Public Health or other relevant certification required; Qualification in Monitoring and Evaluation; Three to five years of professional experience on program evaluation, data analysis and survey development required; Experience working with project monitoring and evaluation for donor-funded projects (experience with USAID, CDC or State Department projects highly desirable); Knowledge of monitoring and evaluation approaches and frameworks; Knowledge of social science research methods; Knowledge of health laboratory systems will be an added advantage; Proficiency in data analysis and technical report writing; Demonstrated MS Excel and MS Office suite skills; Fluent in English; Proven presentation skills and techniques; Excellent organizational, communication and management skills; Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision and in a team setting, organize work projects and complete tasks within assigned timeframes; Ability to establish working relationships with diverse groups

Organizational setting and reporting
This position is located in Harare APHL Trust Zimbabwe office Administrative Assistant/Driver will work closely with the Office Manager.
Responsibilities

Driving
To safely drive APHL vehicles as per instructions to ensure that staff arrive at and are picked from their intended destinations on time and safely; To undertake daily checks on vehicles to ensure that they are roadworthy all the time so that there are no disruptions to business due to preventable faults; To advise the Officer Manager when the vehicle is due for service and plan for the servicing of the vehicle to avoid disruptions of service due to preventable faults.
Requirements
5 ‘O’ levels including Mathematics and English; Administrative Qualifications such a National Diploma in Administration, Accounting or Purchasing; A minimum of at least 5 years driving experience with a Clean Class 4 driver’ license with a Defensive Driving Certificate; The ability to communicate in English. 5 years of work experience in a similar position; Proficiency in usual desktop software (MS Word, Excel, Outlook).

Participants in the Program are selected on a competitive basis, based on business needs of the Bank.
Objectives:
The broad objectives of the program are to:
• Provide students with an opportunity to acquire professional and practical experience at the African Development Bank.
• Provide the Bank with a pool of potential candidates for future recruitment purposes.
However applicants should not expect the internship to lead to immediate employment with the Bank.

Duties and responsibilities
• The fields of study from which interns are selected must be within the job families of the Bank, particularly Economics, Agriculture, Private Sector Development, Human Capital Development (Education and Health), Environment, Finance, Infrastructure Development, Human Resources Management, Information Technology, Communications, Law, Internal Audit, Budget, Governance or any other field of study that the Bank may deem relevant to its operations.
