First degree in Accounting, Economics or Banking & Finance at class; 2.1 or better
A professional qualification in accounting ACCA or CIMA/CA
Experience in an Export finance role or in Banking responsible for export processing, acquittals and investments
Knowledge of Foreign Exchange regulations
Principles of financial risk management and controls
Knowledge of Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe regulations, Finance Act and Monetary Policy
Knowledge of VAT and ZIMRA customs formalities
Knowledge and understanding of foreign markets an added advantage
Knowledge of investments and investment risk profiling

Purpose of the Job
To assist in the management of all processes related with the financing of the business operations, including export and import procedures, Banking protocol, accounts receivable and accounts payables and investment returns.
This role reports to the Export Finance Manager
Main Duties
Ensures correct costing of the Company’s products before shipment
Ensures that export documentation complies with the RBZ exchange Control regulations including the correct filing and acquittal of CD1 forms
To receive and account for all foreign receipts in liaison with the Company’s authorised Bankers
Maintain register of export receipts and ensure that export receipts are reconciled to customer invoices
Collect all outstanding invoices
Assists the Export Finance Manager in the application, processing and management of funding requirements for the business
Maintain a register of all sources of funding and ensure timely allocation and matching to export receipts to meet repayment terms.
Prepares Bank applications and Instructions and follows up to ensure they are effected
Maintains the daily cash flow file ensuring that the Company operations are sufficiently funded
Advises management on investment decisions for excess cash
Compiles the monthly Trade Debtors sales invoice report
