The Crisis in Zimbabwe Coalition seeks to appoint an experienced and qualified individual the position of National Coordinator. The National Coordinator shall offer on-site institutional management, program implementation services on a permanent basis (40hours a week) and related responsibilities on the following ToRs, which are the basis for deliverables and Key Result Areas (KRAs):
Scope of work
Oversee day-to-day management and provide leadership of CiZC with close to 86 civil society organizations; Have a lid on the programmatic and administrative elements of the institution as well as political positioning and engagement around key issues these include ensuring a sharp and poignant analysis and political understanding of constitutional reform process, democratic legislative and institutional reforms, electoral reforms, the political economy of the transition and other broader political environment related issues; Enhance the organization’s network density and integrity, and act as liaison between The Coalition, the State, Partners, Diplomats and Foreign governments as part of the interest articulation and influencing consensus initiatives that are key to the CiZC’s work; Representing and articulation of the organization’s policies and positions at local, national, regional and international forums; Offer Advisory Support to CiZC Regional Office; Developing and implementing advocacy and information strategies to increases the organization’s profile internally and externally; Facilitate initiatives for the Coalition’s leadership and members, with strategic partners; Servicing the membership of the coalition (amplification and coordination) and facilitating linkages with counterpart organisations in Zimbabwe, South Africa and SADC region; Oversee the timely production and editorial of CiZC publications
Qualifications and experience
Advanced degree required in Political Science, Human Rights, Governance, or relevant fields of study related to the project. PhD in relevant discipline would be a distinct asset; Minimum 10 years of professional experience in similar position in fields related to results and objectives of the project required for the successful management of governance and human rights projects, as well as an understanding of policy, economics in the Zimbabwean context; Proven exceptional leadership as project director or chief of party in the design, management, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of similar size and complex international donor support projects with skills in strategic planning, management, supervision, and budgeting; Proven ability to develop and communicate a common vision among diverse stakeholders and the ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams. Technical understanding of governance and human rights issues in Zimbabwe; Knowledge of NGO and donor policies and procedures as related to project management preferred; Knowledge of the political, social, cultural, and development context of Africa strongly preferred; Ability to supervise staff and coordinate projects with partners from a broad range of backgrounds and experiences; Ability to build coalitions and networks that can provide synergies and sustainable solutions; Must be comfortable in high-level representational role as well as interacting with Coalition stakeholders; Strong communication skills, both interpersonal and written, to effectively coordinate stakeholders

Chief Finance Officer

THE ROLE,
As a key member of the Executive Management team, the Chief Finance Officer will assume a strategic role in the overall management of the Group's finances. The CFO will be responsible for financial planning, providing strategic leadership in the development, evaluation, and execution of short and long term strategic objectives. The incumbent will be accountable for the financial reporting to the Board, regulatory authorities and key stakeholders. The Position will also be responsible for corporate finance activities.
THE PERSON,
• Qualified Chartered Accountant with at Ieast 10 years post qualification experience in business or the profession or equivalent with strong technical accounting skills ideally with a sound working knowledge of ERP systems. 
• The ideal candidate must be a visionary finance leader with at least ten years of related experience in managing and motivating an efficient finance department 
• Must have software technology business experience especially in Microsoft products, and working in a Microsoft Azure cloud-based environment 
• Must be well versed with the use of data analytics in business ideally with experience in the use of data analysis tools 
• Demonstrated leadership qualities; strong attention to detail, strong oral and written communications skills 
• Proven success in delivering high performance and change at organisational level. 
• Commitment to working with shared leadership and in cross-functional teams. 
• Ability to manage and motivate team Members in multiple projects at a time ideally using project management tools

Food Monitor
Job Title: Food Monitor
Location: Chipinge
Purpose of the Position
To mobilize community for Registration, Verification and Distribution, set up Final Distribution Points (FDPs) according to World Vision standard distribution procedures and provide end user monitoring and accurate documentation on all commodity distributions.
Major Responsibilities:
Commodity Management and Distribution
• Liaise with Warehouse staff on distribution planning and commodities dispatching from Warehouse to Final Distribution Points (FDPs).
• Ensure that all commodities entrusted to World Vision arriving at FDPs are properly accounted for.
• Scrutinize all waybills for commodities arriving at the FDP.
• Ensure that the commodities are of correct quantities and quality as manifested on the waybill. Immediately record all quantities delivered short (missing), quantities lost in transit and quantities damaged if any. All observations must be recorded immediately. Commodities must carefully be counted during off-loading.
• Ensure that at the school storeroom, commodities are stacked in an organized manner, by commodity type to facilitate easy counting.
• Ensure FIFO is observed at all storerooms in all FDPs.
• Train FDP Management Committee in commodity stacking, counting, weighing, and FDP Complaints Committee on Complaints handling process.
• Train beneficiaries on Donor, Implementing Partner, Program, Duration, Selection Criteria, and Ration Sizes.
Project Monitoring
• Monitor the distribution of commodities for every FDP and produce reports.
• Submission of distribution plans for each FDP and actual beneficiaries to the District Coordinator for approval.
• Review all the FDP Documents and compare with the Master Beneficiary List. Record all changes and report them regularly.
• Follow up on Beneficiary Complaints from Help Desk and give Beneficiaries feedback of their complaints.
• Prepare Distribution Center Visit Reports (DCVR) and Food Monitors Report after every Distribution.
Commodity Accounting.
• Ensure that all commodities are accounted for at the FDP and make sure all distributions are carried out according to WV standards.
• Ensure proper accounting of all quantities of commodities received and distributed at each FDP.
• Make sure that all Humanitarian Accountability processes and procedures are followed
• Perform any other duty that may be assigned from time to time
Qualifications and Skills:
• Diploma in Social Sciences, Development Studies or any relevant field.
• At least 2 years’ previous experience in a related field.
• Ability to ride a motor cycle is an added advantage
• Ability to perform field assignments and willingness to travel for long period of time in difficult terrain, harsh and demanding conditions.
• Good command of oral and written English, a must.
• Knowledge and experience in computers especially Microsoft word, Excel, Spreadsheet software.
