Qualifications

Details

4. Assists in follow-up audits to determine adequacy of corrective actions.
5. Provides assistance to external auditors as requested.
6. Conducts special investigations as may be assigned by the Head Internal Audit.
7. Participates and assists the Head: Internal Audit and Internal Audit Supervisor in
auditing business units.
8. Records minutes of departmental meetings and any other meetings as required.
9. Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the Head: Internal Audit.
C. QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES
1. Minimum of a Degree in Accounting/Finance or its equivalent.
2. At least 1 year’s working and learning experience in Auditing.
3. Studying towards an Articled Clerk qualification and specializing in Audit will be an added
advantage.
4. Excellent presentation and English communication skills.
5. Highly flexible and ability to work under pressure.
6. Ability to work in a multicultural environment.

Call for Applications – Professional Exchange Program

Are you between the ages 22-35? Then you have a unique opportunity to participate in SAIH Professional Exchange Programme.
SAIH is the solidarity organisation of students and academics in Norway. SAIH focuses on education in development cooperation, as well as North/South information and political advocacy. SAIH was established in 1961 as part of the Norwegian students’ anti-apartheid movement. The exchange period will be from August 2018 to July 2019. The exchange is organised in collaboration with FK Norway, and is subject to availability of funding. After your return you will be committed to spend 8 weeks (part time) carrying out follow-up work, with a focus on sharing the experiences and knowledge you have gained with Zimbabwean activists. Through your work you will learn how the organization works in Norway and internationally. You will participate in SAIHs work with campaigns and debates in Norway, through the secretariat and through the student lead local chapters at the Higher Education Institutions in Norway. You will have an active part in various working groups dealing with issues like gender equality, participation of academics, arranging seminars and gatherings for local chapters and other. You will be expected to give presentations and participate in debates on student issues for the SAIH local chapters and other student bodies in Norway.
Through the SAIH’s Professional exchange you will be one out of two participants from Zimbabwe. The two of you will work in a team based at the SAIH secretariat throughout the exchange period.
The exchange offers:

Preparation course and home coming seminar
The Exchange is targeting those:
Between the ages of 22 and 35
Who have completed higher education (Bachelor or Master’s degree)
Who have experience with managing campaigns and/or advocacy work, project management, monitoring and evaluation, research
Who have good written and oral presentation skills in English
Have knowledge in social media and writing reports
Who have a good understanding of Zimbabwean civil society engagement and political context, and keen interest in strengthening knowledge of the Norwegian context
Who can work independently and take initiative
Who have had a voluntary position or worked in a student based institution have an added advantage
As a participant you will not be able to work or study during this period.
