QUALIFICATIONS
A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in the installation, repair, and maintenance of commercial HVAC and/or other similar digital building controls systems. Work experience must show the ability to troubleshoot and repair complex equipment, components, and systems
Must have detailed technical knowledge of HVAC control systems and basic knowledge of how control systems interface with the other operating systems including the building automation system. Must have a very good technical understanding of major building electrical/mechanical systems and equipment. Knowledge of electrical theory, ohms law, circuit wiring, the laws of thermodynamics and their application to HVAC system design, installation, repair, operations and maintenance is required.
Level III - Good working knowledge in spoken and reading English is required. (This may be tested.)
Must be able to diagnose, test and repair electrical and mechanical components and take equipment readings using meters, hand tools, power tools, and specialized diagnostic equipment tools to determine the root cause of a problem, and the appropriate repairs. Must be able to install, troubleshoot, program, and repair the components associated with HVAC controls and their interface devices with the building automation systems.

Procurement Assistant
PURPOSE OF POSITION
To plan, monitor and organize the Procurement function, recording, make follow ups on requisitions and orders. Engage with all programs on their requirements and give the necessary support.
Major Accountabilities and responsibilities
1. Work directly with all Southern ADPs, Operations, Grants, Finance, Admin, Stores and all other Support Departments on all issues of Procurement.
2. Implement procurement procedures in line with WV policies and guidelines while executing duties.
3. Ensure competitive bidding prevail in all procurements and maintain integrity and all times while sourcing. Also ensure that the Regional and Internationals suppliers are considered during the sourcing phase of procurement.
4. Always negotiate for the best bearing in mind the procurement five right (right price, right quality, right source, right place and the most economic delivery time.)
5. In recognition of the procurement policy ensure that all procurements within the contract thresholds are accompanied by fully approved and legally binding contracts.
6. Preparations of all relevant documentation required for orders to be placed.
7. Monitor Supplier performance record against orders/contracts issued.
8. Maintain and cultivate relationships between the organization and suppliers and always ensure sound relationship prevails with other procurement and logistics offices of World Vision for clustering purposes so as to enhance NO performance.
9. Always ensure that all the procurement transactions are auditable and are ready all the time for audit.
10. Carry out any other duties assigned by the Procurement Officer and attend to weekly devotions and attend.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
• HND in Purchasing and Supply
• In-depth Knowledge of procurement under a hyper inflationary environment and also knowledge on grant and Sponsorship management will be essential.
• Be a professional in Procurement and Logistics, with at least three years experience in procurement especially with NGOs and have an in-depth knowledge on Supply Chain Management.
• Excellent computer skills especially MS excel. A procurement system will be an added advantage.
• Ability to understand and appreciate connections between procurement and Finance, Operations, Grants and other Sponsorship activities.
• Accurate, methodical and tidy work habits
• Ability to work as a team
• Self motivated and desire to get things right at first time.
• Ability to deal with local, Regional and International Stakeholders and bear in mind different cultures and beliefs while executing duties.
• Ability to Network with other Procurement colleagues on procurement issues
